I would recommend this solely due to Patti Drew's version of "Fever" which is a fabulous & fast 60's take on the famous song, but the rest is also pretty cool (as are Vol 1 and Vol 3). These albums would appeal to people who don't like jazz as it's tuneful and not "difficult".

Top tracks if you've got a bottle of good red, some cheese, another bottle of red, and good stereo, low lights and an hour to sit back and enjoy some interesting music. If you're into something different, but not modern jazz type stuff then this disk is a great starting point. Makes for interesting low key music if you've got friends round for dinner too! (although they'll think you're mad at first when you put it on).
