Okay, if you like Robbie Williams then the chances are you will enjoy this DVD although like me you may be dissapointed. The performances are exactly what you would expect from Robbie and of themselves each song is performed well, however, I do have 2 criticisms of this DVD, both in relation to how the performaces have been edited. Firstly, there is no chronological or geographical order to each song e.g. the songs flit from one concert venue to another and from one year to another and back again making the whole thing seem disjointed - and unless you were there you will have little idea which venue each performance is at(okay the castle in the background of some shots is a give away for Slane) and the sleeve notes don't help much as there is ... People say that live songs are always better than album versions and this album really proves that. Great acts like Alanis Morrisette, Eric Clapton and Bryan Adams all feature in this outstanding album. A smooth CD to chill out to in the evenings or on a hot summers afternoon. The very best performances come from Seal with Kiss From A Rose, which sounds incredible and is so moving. Secoindly theres Noel Gallagher singing Don't Look Back in Anger, Liam sings this on Whats the Story but Noel has the better voice and this track really shows it off. Buy this album now and chill.

[...]Seriously though, if you are a fan of Black Cherry and/or Felt Mountain (or even Goldfrapps latest offerings on Supernature) you will surely love this DVD.

A good handful of the tracks are previously unreleased and make the DVD worth the money just for that, but when you take into account that it's a double disk affair then how can you say no!? :)

From the idyllic tranquility of utopia and lovely head, to the rock chic stomping that can only be found with train and strict machine when performed live, this is by far the best live act I have seen in recent years.

Not being a huge REM fan in the first place, I bought this CD purely because it was cheap...but it has converted me! Some of the songs on here are classics while others are less well known (to me anyway). However, it's the DVD that pushed this up to 4 stars. How I wish I had been at that concert now, especially when "Losing My Religion" started!

He might have been high, who knows? "WHO CARES?!" I love this album and maybe I love it most because he is so happy and playful. He became so angry not long after this. Well, we all did. Blame it on the times, blame it on drugs, blame it on the establishment. Who knows? I just know I love hearing the happiness, the love of performing, the love between him and an audience for which he could do no wrong, his old protest songs, anti-war and folk songs in the time just before he pulled away from the label of all that. If you only know Bob Dylan from his later stuff or his work as he's aged, you HAVE to listen to this. You owe it to Dylan, you owe it to the young people some of us were: young, fairly - but only fairly - naive, truly hopeful that we could ... Read More:

What a treat this CD is - despite not including many of his best songs, it is worth the money alone to listen to the rousing rendition of the all-time classic 'Joxer Goes to Stuttgart'. Just like the occassion it was written about, the song will be played over and over again...

I LOVE this album. I've been a fan of Bruce Springsteen for nearly thirty years and he just continues to amaze me! The band here is incredibly tight and the sound is nothing ever less than perfect. Each song just oozes fun and friendly enthusiasm and the arrangements are spot on. Classic Bruce mixed with classic American folk? You cannot fault a moment. Brooooooce!!! Broooooce!!!

Whilst not a huge Byrds fan at the time I like the other reviewer saw the 1971 tour. Quite simply the concert was one of the best concerts I have ever been to.

With the exception of the footage of the Democratic Convention protest, this DVD tends to focus less on political extras and more on the music. I suppose this would make sense, with the band broken up it would be difficult to arrange documentaries and interviews of the type found in Battle of Mexico City.

A memo should go out to all bands and music DVD producers that says at minimum: "1) Music DVD's should be produced to the highest standards. 2) The musical performances within should represent the talent that made the studio recorded CDs sell. 3) Theatrics are very cool too, as long as you can pull them off without deterioration in the quality of the music."

Let's break it down then for Rage's Live at the Grand Olympic Auditorium:
