This album is a must for an Derek and Clive fans. Cook's rantings are worse than ever and Dudley barely gets a word in - but you woulr probably pay £5 for an album of him corpsing anyway. I consider 'Come Again' as their best recording - with some highly quotable sketches, whereae Ad Nauseam has a few tracks you just want to skip. Just a word of warning - expect to be using the F and C word prefusely following a day of Derek and Clive!!

I just had to give my opinion on this cd as I had ordered it on the recomendations of the other reviewers, first of all if you are not a fan of david bedford then give this a miss as it sounds to me like it was cheaply put together, I know this was recorded in the 70's but there are better alternatives out there from that decade. robert powells voice as the narator gives it some credit but is drowned out too often by the music, I gave this cd a few plays just to see if it would grow on me but I have just taken it to the charity shop.

I'd only ever heard a couple of the Nimoy offerings before and LSD by the Shatt, and so I thought I knew what I was letting myself in for, but I didn't really. The breadth of material covered by both was a complete surprise, the depth of the hole both men seemed to be digging for themselves with such vigour was none short of astonishing. It was akin I'd say to watching an unlicenced driver getting into a fast car and pointing it straight at a brick wall, without a seatbelt on. Brave though, as you'd expect of two starship troopers. I'm going to have review Nimoy's first, as I think I need to be sedated by several scotches at least, before I try and describe Shatner's efforts. Not as some have said, the original version of 'Sir Henry at Rawlinson End' but by far and away the most concise. It's all you really wanted to know about Henry Rawlinson in an easy to swallow, beautifully performed hour. And I've enjoyed this hour for what must amount to weeks in repeated plays. Even now, a word or phrase can suddenly shine out as a meaning or reference becomes clear. The narrative and songs are examples of Vivian at his very best and it comes as no surprise that this album continues to enthrall listeners decades after it's first release. I used this CD in nursery and year 2 and they loved it especially 'elephants have wrinkles'. Its a fun cd which children will absoulutley love,you'll find yourself loving it too.

Like other reviewers, the thing that strikes me most about this album is its honesty - it's not afraid to face some of the things that get glossed over by many Christian artists who seem to conform to the 'happy clappy' image rather than admitting that life as a Christian isn't perfect. The music itself is also very good and often very moving.

This is brilliant ! See What A Morning , Speak O Lord , Oh Church Arise , Beneath The Cross of Jesus , The Power Of The Cross and In Christ Alone and Accross The Land are meaningful & inspiring modern hymns . The truths that they express about the timeless love of God & how Christians must let that be reflected in their lives by following Christ are just amazing! The tunes are very good & they are sung to perfection by Mrs Getty . This music has been a great source of inspiration to me when one feels that ones faith is under pressure as it reminds me that we can reach out to a God who loves us so much that he sacrificed his son to redeem sinners . I was surprised when I first listened to this tape. I was expecting a traditional Agatha Christie type format in the manner I was used to hearing. The three stories have been very much updated in terms of the setting of the stories and the language and general setting of the plots. This does not in any way detract from the enjoyment, rather it enhances the quality of the tales, indicating that the original format transfers very easily to a more up to date setting. The acting in all the stories is excellent, and the plots take a very interesting and unexpected turn, particularly towards the end, which is of course what one would expect from the author. This is a beautiful recording for a number of reasons. First, it's a piece of natural England for those of us that can't actually be there. Second, it's the glorious sounds of the early morning for those of us that aren't early risers (3:40 a.m., anybody?). Third, it is downright interesting as well as enchanting, with ebbs and flows of an amazing array of sounds, including lambs' cries. I have listened to it a few times since buying it recently, sometimes while I am reading, and sometimes just listening with my eyes shut. The concise liner notes are helpful, alerting you to the presence of species with which you may not be familiar, and helping you to understand what's happening over time.

Have just bought this cd and it is excellent. From the outset the song Rebirthing is a real classic. Hard rock at its best. The cd really doesn't have a poor track throughout. They are a Christian band with positive lyrics which is refreshing considering some of the doom and gloom around nowadays. Buy, you won't regret.
