My wife (for whom I bought it) says that this CD set is very restful and soothing and I have to say that I quite like to hear the singing in the background whilst I slave away at the computer. And, of course, the great thing is that we got two CDs for about the price of one. Excellent!

I'd never heard of Johnny Cash until this cd appeared in the cd player at work. Needless to say, it came home with me about a week later, and has been in my car ever since. There's something about johnny Cash that is totally mesmerising, & i'm even more hooked since watching walk the line, which is one of my favourite films. This deserves a place in every CD collection.

I must say when I played this the first 5 times I was a bit disappointed with it compared to Plans and Translanticism....it wasn't as immediate.....but now the melodies have got into my soul......and I am now counting the days (12 !) till I see them live for the first time.....

Its a bit edgier than the previous two.....but thats a good thing.....

ABBA was formed in 1972 by four great Swedish musicians (Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid "Frida" Lyngstad - ABBA, get it?). Featuring wonderful vocals and bouncing instrumentation, plus enjoyable (if somewhat lightweight) lyrics, the group shot to international stardom, dominating charts around the world until their final breakup in 1982. This album was put together in 1993, and contains many of ABBA's most memorable tunes. As an added bonus, the paperwork contains a short history of the group, plus many colorful pictures.

Overall, I am extremely pleased with this CD, and highly recommend it to everyone! By they way, I used this CD to introduce my own children to ABBA, and now they walk around singing some of the same songs ... Read More:

i'll be quick in what i have to say: this album is diverse. It has everything. some soulful tracks, some poppy-little-bit-commercial tracks and some pure street bass-heavy hip-hop.

best track on the album for me: A Milli (this is the heaviest track i've heard in a long time)

Hip-Hop is not dead.

This album seems to follow a similar theme to pharrell's recent solo album. It begins with a series of up beat tracks with more current hip hop influence. From track 6 onwards is a return to the old classics of the first two N.E.R.D. albums. I personally prefer the second half of the album where the originality of the N.E.R.D. sound lies but refreshed and current, 'sooner or later' and 'love bomb' will have your hands swinging in the air and 'killjoy' is a funkadelic headbanger. The first few tracks are listenable and i'm sure will grow in time, there are even a few jungle rhythms on 'spaz'. This album is equally as good as the first two and fans will not be disappointed.

Forget about Justin Hawkins, in fact forget about the Darkness. The Stone Gods blew me away and this is just their first album. If you have ever wanted to see a Phoenix rise out of the ashes, this album is the next best thing. Cause thats what this album feels like. The whole album is just brilliant, and it is very hard to pick a track which stands out, as they are all very good. If you were a fan of the Darkness, I would suggest buying this album. I was, and after listening to this album, I honestly believe these guys deserve every bit of success they get.

I discovered Jason Mraz's music by accident after hearing a sample of it on the internet about 3 years ago and I fell in love with it. He has an amazing voice, writes very clever lyrics and his music really stood out to me from a lot of the other musical dross that's too prevalent nowadays. In particular, I love his album "Mr A-Z" which I think is fantastic and, contrary to what some of the other people who've written reviews here have said about it, I think it's his best album. I was so excited when We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things came out and rushed out to buy it. However, having listened to it a few times now I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with it and it hasn't lived up to my high expectations of his music. He can do a lot better than this! Most of the songs are rather bland and ... Read More:

This is not even close to being a 4 or 5 star album. Bands clearly have to evolve and usually when this is done correctly for every fan they lose they will gain 5 more, however Linkin Park have unfortunately evolved into overalll nothingness, the distinct lack of heaviness makes this record a bit of a chore to listen to. There are moments of promise dotted around the album but on the whole very little actually grabs you and forces you to keep playing it over and over.

The only really promising songs are the main single What Ive Done and Given Up, but once again despite the attempts to evolve it is very similar to the first track of Meteora though i must admit the simple but catchy guitar riff is a winner. On the subject of the guitars though it does sounds very synthetic and digitally enhanced ... Read More:
