I am so excited about this album!!!!! I heard some of the songs on myspace and is sounds AMAZING!! The new tracks sound sooo good! I love the single! You have to buy this album, it will blow you away!

If you are looking for an album that can be catchy, intelligent, sing-a-long and genuinely brilliant at the same time, this pretty much has it covered. Ladyhawke has merges pop, rock, dance and electronica in one song, and yet still has you singing along in seconds. I haven't listened to an album with so many instant hooks and simple yet unforgettable chorus's in a long time and I never expected it to be in my top 5 albums of 2008, but it is that good. Her voice suits the songs perfectly, being subtle and comforting, and yet also portraying the emotion of songs such as "Magic" or "Dusk til' Dawn". Really good album but like someone else said in the review, the old favourites have been ruined by bad recording.. It sounds almost live... :(

This is more of a warning than a review. Basically, every track on the album has two seconds of silence at the end, including the first track "Prelude" which should seamlessly merge into "Slam". Other than this one instance it isn't that annoying, but if that kind of thing would irritate you, you may be better off looking for the original version of the album, which was mixed properly: Hold Your Colour If you are looking to put the album on a computer or portable media player (iPod, etc.) there are workarounds for this. Once you have bought and ripped the album to your computer, either download a replacement copy of "Prelude" from the original, or edit the track yourself using a program like Audacity. This an amzing album. Although it is not released you can hear most of the songs on youtube. I DONT CARE IS AMAZING and so is HEADFIRSTSLIDE INTO COOPERSTOWN.

No, not Dark Side of the Moon or The Wall, this is Pink Floyd's greatest work. Only 4 songs (one split in two) but they're absolutely sublime. Shine On You Crazy Diamond is an amazing song and, I think, the Floyd's longest, Welcome to the Machine is eerie but compulsively listenable, Wish You Were Here one of their most gorgeous songs, and Have a Cigar is very underrated, in fact one of my favourite tracks and a nice change of style, without which the album might have felt a bit too heavy. You have to listen to the album in one sitting to truly appreciate it, and it's a hugely rewarding experience with not a duff second on it. And the ending of the album is truly gorgeous, possibly the best ending to an album ever. Absolutely essential listening.

I received this great CD for Christmas 2007. I'd never really listened to any of their CDs before, and only ever heard and reconized "Don't Stop Me Now" a few times. But now I am crazy about them and their music: it's so cool and catchy! All the songs are brilliant! You should definetly buy this! It is FAB! And if you don't atleast like them now, you will after listening to this!
