And before you ask, yes there is more to ABBA than just ABBA Gold! Seven Lives Many Facesyet again another great album from Enigma,awsome cd a few riffs from the past and some great new stuff as well ,head phones a must,fav tracks 4and 9 but all great .

This disc is simply beautiful. Two are its main characteristics:continuity and change. Continuity relates to individual tracks which display a pronounced element of recursion that is repetition with slight variation of the same theme which promotes a feeling of soothing, calm and relaxation. Recursion is something employed successfully in distinctly different areas:in music famously employed by J.S.Bach to excellent effect in his baroque compositions, in graphics by Escher and in Mathematics by Goedel while it forms the basis of fractal Geometry. I first heard the song Case of You in the film Practical Magic and thought how wonderful it was. I bought the film soundtrack (the whole music selection for the film was pretty good) and then i bought the album Blue to see what the rest of Jonis work was like. I fell in love with the album so completely, that now i've moved to MP3 and sold 99% of my CD's i can't bear to part with this one. One of the others is Court & Spark. The music is so simple, the strings, drums, and her voice- the most wonderful voice i have ever heard, conveying such emotion that the music and words combined make the whole album an amazing rollercoaster of feelings and thoughts. Emiliana hang your head in shame. I loved 'Love in the time..' for it's lovely ambient beats together with that beautiful voice. Wasn't expecting the folky turn of 'Fisherman's' but still great (especially live). This latest offering is an example of someone with absolutely no idea as to what direction to take musically. I have no problem with taking different directions, but probably best not to take them all at the same time. This is a complete mess and a waste of - did I say already? a beautiful voice. D- must try much much harder.

I have only had this album for two days and it is already one of my favourites! Although I had heard of Ray Lamontagne, I had not heard any of his music and ordered this album from Amazon on a whim. Just pure beautiful music, very Damian Rice-esque, execpt more upbeat!!

What can i say about McCartney's new album but bravo.It's a stunning and unexpectedly brave and compelling listening experience.I'm not known for my hyperbole but this record is as strong a album as he's put out since Ram.The highlights for me are Traveling Light,See The Changes,Highway,Dance 'Til Wer'e High,Lovers In A Dream and Nothing Too Much just Out Of Sight,but the whole album is a joy to be hold.If you are a lapsed Macca fan then this should bring you back to the fold,it's outstanding and all i can say is Band On The What!
