Totally amazing, one of the greatest albums ever made. Dark, brooding, with awesome scratching, beautiful and unsettling singing and, in my opinion, superior to Dummy. Love driving at night or smoking at home to this absolute classic. You'd be a fool not to hear it.

I'd never heard of Johnny Cash until this cd appeared in the cd player at work. Needless to say, it came home with me about a week later, and has been in my car ever since. There's something about johnny Cash that is totally mesmerising, & i'm even more hooked since watching walk the line, which is one of my favourite films. This deserves a place in every CD collection.

The essence of any Brit-Pop band is do they have enough originality to last the distance? It's often easy to produce a stunning first album and then fail to live up to expectations. The first album can well be dominated by songs written over a period of time. The problem can come when new material has to be written. Having said that there has to be a starting point and The Feeling are a decent southern England band with some catchy choruses and hook lines that have stood them apart from many of their contemporaries. They have the pseudo London feel of a Blur but mix it with decent melodies. This album has some wonderful moments - it is what you'd expect and more from David and his crew. Aldrich does a wonderful job on guitars and I really do not understand what some of the more negative people were expecting. This is a Whitesnake album in every sense of the word, without too much influence from the comtemporary rock scene (and better for it). More albums please Mr. Coverdale...

This album seems to follow a similar theme to pharrell's recent solo album. It begins with a series of up beat tracks with more current hip hop influence. From track 6 onwards is a return to the old classics of the first two N.E.R.D. albums. I personally prefer the second half of the album where the originality of the N.E.R.D. sound lies but refreshed and current, 'sooner or later' and 'love bomb' will have your hands swinging in the air and 'killjoy' is a funkadelic headbanger. The first few tracks are listenable and i'm sure will grow in time, there are even a few jungle rhythms on 'spaz'. This album is equally as good as the first two and fans will not be disappointed.

I must say when I played this the first 5 times I was a bit disappointed with it compared to Plans and Translanticism....it wasn't as immediate.....but now the melodies have got into my soul......and I am now counting the days (12 !) till I see them live for the first time..... Its a bit edgier than the previous two.....but thats a good thing.....

'The Red Album' is weezer's masterpiece so far. Don't let it fool you that the opener 'Troublemaker' is an archetype of the dynamic and melodic power rock known so well from earlier releases, 'cause what follows adds new and surprising dimensions to weezer's style. His cd's make me feel good when im alone and dont know were any one is trying to work my arse of to achieve something it reminds me of being in love, break ups from bad relationships, the danger of extremity the beach and the calm waves, and how Bush miss treated the Iraqi's when he could of arrested the Taliban, this is a love record and im not embarrased to say it unfortunately hiding on there was you better hope your not alone to skank me bestest record apart from this track.

Fellow vintage mettlers Deep Purple kept us waiting 6 years for the pretty indifferent Bananas, so 10 years after Sonic Origami, I approached this new Heep studio album with some trepidation. No worries! This is utterly stonking stuff that compares well with Heep's best material from their 70's heyday! Throughout, the venerable Mr Box's guitar work is very much to the fore. OK so he's not the fastest guitarist there is, but no-one does that dirty strangled sound better than Mick and he really lets rip on this collection. Some pretty nimble riffs too - notably in the opening (title) track. Other highlights for me and songs which I'm sure will become live Heep classics, are the thumpingly brilliant Book of Lies, the magnificent epic What Kind of God, the strangely dischordant ...
