I hadn't heard anything by them until ITV used the track 'Welcome to the Black Parade' during the Brazilian F1 Grand Prix. I didn't know who it was by but was instantly hooked. A few mouse clicks later and I'd found out the artist and had ordered the album. I received it today and couldn't wait to play it. Absolutely fantastic! The only problem (!) is that I'm now going to have to buy the rest of the albums. It's such a long time since I've heard music that immediately grabs my attention. Worth every penny. Highly recommended if you like 'proper' music.

This is a great CD for kids. I've bought a few as presents and am told they get played again and again. My kids love it.

I just want to add my voice to the crowd: Bonamassa is more than you expect. I have bought all his records now, and there is no disappointment, I am very very impressed with him: good voice, massive sound, an amazing knowledge of the classics of blues and rock, and a style of his own who can also perfectly emulate the great names when needed. He is fulfilling expectations coming from the hype around him. HE DESERVES IT. I have not been impressed as much with someone since Stevie Ray played Texas Flood in my ears many years ago. MUST HAVE FOR ALL BLUES FANS!! Not only this CD! ALL OF THEM !!!

I liked this album a lot. It starts off strong and gets better through to the two songs at the end, which for me were the highlights. Beautiful lyrics, beautiful voice, beautiful music, beautifully produced. A melancholy album pretty much through and through I felt, and that would be my only criticism. Nothing pacey and upbeat to help mix it up a bit. Four stars from me.

Well i finally bought this album yesterday - the deluxe limited edition digipack version at a 2 for 10 pound offer in HMV (first alarm bell). i thought, ok, i'll give it a go, considering i am kinda a mariah carey fan, and there was a bit of hype at the time. put it on and did like 'migrate' but it all goes downhill from there. Not as good as Madonna's Hard Candy by 1000000 miles, and has sold less (second alarm bell). The only thing i liked was the album artwork and colour scheme. I think mariah is out of ideas now and this album proves it. This is the lowest selling album of her career to date.....oh dear...... Very, Very overrated! 1/10

This album is undoubtedly a cut above the unnecessarily huge number of indie pop albums being churned out at the moment. The songs are instant hits with catchy melodies and energetic music to back them up. After a few listens though, and a massive amount of radio airplay, what remains is a collection of tunes you're a little bit sick of. The standout tune for me is Creepin' Up The Backstairs, the only track inventive enough to keep me wanting to listen weeks after I bought the album.

Leona's first true upbeat track 'Forgive Me' turns out to be quite a hit, it works in the style of a modern club vibe yet still grasps maturity & class, it's a well structured song with clear verses, a throbbing memorable chorus & great lyrics, it's B-Side 'Myself Ft. Novel' in my opinion equals the quality of the main track, i would describe the song as acoustic driven, mid-tempo & easy going with a swaying gentle beat, enough said, this single is fantastic & i would recommend this as a definite purchase.

Having previously mislaid my copies of Chronicles 1 & 2, spotted this today and thought it would be an ideal replacement. On the plus side, the tracks have been remastered since the above compilations were released and they have never sounded better, taking 18 of the 20 tracks from Volume 1 (ignoring "Commotion" and "Someday Never Knows"), and 6 of the best from Volume 2. Great to have this huge 24 track selection on one disc, but in order to squeeze them all on, the 11 minute guitar workout on "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" has been sacrificed, and replaced instead with a 4 minute edit. (Still have the original on mp3 anyway!) I may have a dodgy pressing but having already exchanged it twice, beware there is a ... Read More:

This album is awful. Terrible vocals, terrible songs, so-so backing - you begin to get the idea. This is a record that is completely lacking in charisma and imagination. Put it this way if he was still in the army they would have had him put him against the wall and shot!

in my opinion this is the best of all the pink albums there is, "im not dead" is very good too, but this one is so cool and every single on of the songs is brilliant! pink is so cool!
