Fantastic album Pacific Ocean Blue, just get it and listen to it, plus the bonus tracks and the additional lost album 'Bambu', all beautifully packaged, make this a worthy tribute to a flawed genius; Dennis Wilson.

So Roger Waters threw the toys out of the pram and spat out his dummy. Who the hell cares? He went on to have a successful solo career and jolly good luck to him. But to then say, oh well Pink Floyd is no longer in existence and this is a Gilmour solo album, under the name of Pink Floyd, is frankly infantile. This is David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Rick Wright and they are as much the essence of Pink Floyd as Roger Waters ever was. Oh and by the way if Roger Waters was so damn sure that Floyd could not exist without him, why did he take such trouble to exclude Rick Wright and draw up legal papers preventing him from ever rejoining the group? Fabulous CD, it doesnt take itself too seriously, this isnt serious house music... its hands up in the air - peaktime, party time fun... just what you need at this time of year. Great value for money, some exclusive remixes and a corking unmixed winter chill lounge cd as disk three that i guarantee will NOT be off your ipod this winter season. :)

I hate to criticise Lazytown because we love it and everything it stands for - but we are a bit disappointed by the music on this CD compared to the first CD. It is by the same person/lyricists, however, it does not have the energy/dance qualities of the first album - and it is spoilt by the distracting/off-putting american accents of the puppets which are not the real voices from the shows and are so different that it sounds like they have all become teenagers and everyone's voice has broken! My other criticism of this product is that the DVD is not as good because there is not an option to play ALL songs- you have to keep going in and out of menus to play each tune which is annoying because I can't leave my kids watching it and get on with the housework ... LAX is a MUST buy album for Game and Hip-Hop fans. I disagree with the people complaining about there is to many tracks. There is alot of tracks but each one of them is good so too many tracks isnt something i would complain about. Most Recognisable tracks are Games Pain Ft Keyshia Cole My Life Ft Lil Wayne Dope Boys Ft Travis Barker And Big Dreams ( Deluxe Adition only ) Hip-Hop Legends such as Ice Cube, Nas and Raekwon Feature. Aswell as other artists such as Lil Wayne, Ne-Yo and Ludacris among others. LAX is a must buy album and i would recomend it to anyone. I'm rarely grabbed by a music video but I was by 'Hurricane Jane' from this debut and had to investigate. It remains a guilty pleasure - as does 'Teach Your Boyfriend' - another enjoyable single. To that short list I'd add 'Making Eyes' as a pretty decent effort. Those three tracks ARE the album - great Cure meets Bloc Party meets disco pop songs. At a real push 'Listen to Your Body' is a serviceable indie disco stomper but I'm already getting desperate here. The rest ranges from uninspiring to truly awful (the last 2 songs are unlistenable). Just burn those three songs and have a warm bath to try and wash away the dirty feeling of listening to the rest!

I really liked Katie's first two albums but delayed buying this one for over 6 months because of all the poor reviews. And, having finally decided "what the heck,I'll see for myself", I was disappointed when I first played it through - despite having low expectations because of the reviews. Then I played it again and it wasn't quite so bad. And then I played it a lot in the car (& had the other albums there for comparison). And it grew and grew and grew on me. And now it is probably my favourite album of hers. My favourite tracks have varied over time, and I probably still feel that the middle is a little weaker. i dont think the content overall needs to be reviewed, its all classic abba and can all be found elsewhere EXCEPT for I AM THE CITY, this track is still ,as far as i know, not available anywhere else except on this album,(im not counting the COMPLETE STUDIO RECORDINGS box set,the purchase of which may necessitate a small mortgage) and i cant believe no other review has mentioned this. With its incessant piano hook and heart-felt lyrics, "Love Song" caught my attention immediately as one of the most impressive debut singles I've heard on pop radio. So is it true with the rest of "Little Voice" which demonstrates that Sara Bareilles has an incredibly bright future ahead as a compelling chanteuse of original piano-based pop rock music (I'd like to think of her as someone with the melodic richness of a Sarah McLaughlin coupled with the sarcastic, hip lyrics and excellent musical chord writing of a Randy Newman.). Her stylistic influences range all over the map, from the fusion jazz of "Vegas" to the soft rock pop of "Love Song". Like the last reviewer, and many, many others, The Blues Brothers was a film I first watched when I was about 10 and it introduced me to a whole new world of music. This soundtrack was the first record I ever owned and it is where I first heard a lot of artists that I may otherwise never of heard of, since I had only really listened to pop and ska before. This is a great collection and younger people especially will find it it very educational. If you enjoy the soundtrack it would also be a good idea to look up some of the other artists featured in the film but not on the soundtrack, like Sam and Dave and John Lee Hooker. A fun film and a fun soundtrack, try the other Blues Brothers recordings too, you won't regret it!
