For a band that has been around in one guise or another for over 25 years to produce a 14th studio album of this quality is nothing short of astounding. This is an album you can inhabit. Buy it and move in and you will find it a space of beauty, troubling images, humour, poetry and simply amazing songs. Tunes which are catchy at the first listen bring you back for more. Then, the wonder sets in. Each song is not simply lovingly crafted but a shining jewel of perfection and each one different, offering something new. Parachutes is still my favourit album from Coldplay. This album contributed to coldplays success with great songs Shivers, Yellow, High Speed, Everythings not lost. What can I say one of the best English bands ever.

A Great album ,with a mix of live and studio tracks. Personally I think the live tracks bring some great energy to the album and even though they are live they have good production. Turn it up loud and enjoy! Love it!!

After a great review in The S. Times, I am disappointed. I guess it's aimed at the 60+ year old American male whose memories will be stirred - but not mine. The accompanying book is an interesting odd-ball but not enough to warrant buying the CD.

ISOS 5 was widely regarded as the classic - this is way better! Very instrumental, very light on the vocals, which is how I like my trance. CD 1 / CD 2... they're both stunners. The best trance I've heard in a long while.

Lets face facts,Def Leppards last good album was Hysteria.This band was what started it all off for me so I still have some respect for them,but like Bon Jovi(which I own nothing by) they haven't put out a solid album since the 80's.If Whitesnake can do it then I'm sure Def Leppard can. Its a shame because there are so many good bands out there that deserve more attention like Bonfire,Gotthard and Great White to name but a few.Why do people say that an album is good just because its been written by their favourite artist.If its bad its bad end of...I like the Scorpions but their Eye to Eye release was shocking and same goes for Judas priests Jugulator. I hope they deliver an album for the fans next time and don't leave it too long either.

Superb compilation with the obligatory chart successes of the 50s and 60s, some 70s tracks from her acclaimed "Memphis" and Warm and Tender" albums; a couple of fine duets with Michael McDonald and Dusty Springfield; a tribute to Queen; some excellent tracks from 2002, and most especially 4 new songs. Petula's voice is better, stronger and more soulful than ever on these fantastic, largely self-penned, rather reflective songs, recorded in London, New York, and the fantastic new studios of Arthanor Productions in Geneva in 2008 and with production by John Williams and David Hadzis.
