This time around I feel that the solo's and duets are by far the best bit, with the final version of "I'm Every Woman" not doing much for me compared to last year's "Natural Woman". However as I said the duets were good, especially Brandy and Faith Hill covering Bryan Adams' "Everything I do". My only problem is why on earth they put Elton John in there (Although "The Bitch Is Back" is good). Buy This!

A beautiful, well crafted effort from Chante Moore. Jazz, Rnb, Pop and Soul all mixed up to create this album. Her voice is soft, beautiful, with a great range. She reminds me of Mariah Carey in many ways. Stand out tracks are I'm What You Need (sultry and sexy), Your Love's Sumpreme (feel good, chill out track with beautiful notes), Free/Sail On (summer feeling to it, her version is better than the originial) and the haunting Am I Losing You. Chante is underrated and this her best album of them all. She is a fantastic RNB Diva with an amazing voice. If you like Mariah, Whitney, Tamia, Beyonce, Toni or Aalyiah. You will like Chante Moore.

I absolutely detested Eve's album 'Scorpion'. I loathed it. So I don't know what possessed me to buy this album. And I was pleasantly surprised by it, too... Eve Jeffers is a real r'n'b/rap artist, she writes her own music, she can sing as well as rap, and she produces her own stuff. And she deserves to be up there with the likes of Missy and Lil' Kim in the popularity stakes. Smash hit single Gangsta Lovin' (with Alicia Keys) is unlike most of the other tracks on the album, being a primarily r'n'b-centred affair, but current single Satisfaction is different altogether. It is kinda mainstream rap. The rapping is audible, not just a bunch of words spat out at two thousand miles per hour, and the chorus is insanely infectious. ... Read More:

I think the Amazon reviewer, Robert Wilonsky, might need a hearing aid. We're not all the same & we all like different things. I happen to love Luther and had seen him live many times, he has a soulful uplifting voice. Don't speak ill of the departed Robert!!! Love this CD.

Luther Vandross embodied the soul slow ballad - the idle album for a candlelit dinner. One of my friends used to label his music as "foreplay music" and this album is an apt description. I remember going thru a bad breakup at the time and listening to "If Only for One Night" - does u up badly because it is such a good song. Other gems are "Here and Now" - the perfect wedding song, as well as "If this World Were Mine". Mamma Mia, soul from the soul.

This album is one for buying though it isnt one to be remembered as a classic. it has some good tracks on it RnB wise "I Gotta Man" "Love is blind" and "Heven only knows" but hip-hop wise i was a bit dissapointed as only "Scenario" with DMX attracted me.

Finally, a group who have made a massive album with 15 tracks and they are all amazing. Unlike so many groups, Mis Teeq have stayed soley as a RnB group, without going into the 'Pop' genere. This is the album that has soundtracked a million dancefloors, rocked hundreds of clubs, and burst onto the UK RnB scene with buckets of style, class, and the best vocal talents around. MUST BUY

this album marked a return to form for luther and has a firm place in his musical evolution. a solid and catchy opening number is also the title track and sets us off on a really delightful journey which as on previous and susequent efforts show how much work luther put into his music. and again the backing vocals are exquisite, well he started as a backing singer!! maybe the tempo of the opening tracks is a bit slow but the songs seem to get better the further you get into them. and end up with a beautiful rendition of `i think i`m going out of my head`. that luther put a superb cover of a stevie wonder song (knocks me off my feet), tucked away on this cd says a lot. he did`nt do cover versions because he did`nt have the material, he did them because he loved the ...
