151.Try Again by: Aaliyah

Music : Try Again
This CD is probably the best Aaliyah CD single to have been released during her short lifetime. The track was lifted from the soundtrack of the film in which she made her debut movie appearance, "Romeo Must Die." Track #1 is the original version of the Timbaland-produced song, complete with techno-layers, merged with hip-hop beats, and sultry vocals by Aaliyah. The two remixes that follow are variations on the first track, but retain the buzz given off by the original album version. The last track is an instrumental, taking Aaliyah's vocals off of the track. It allows you to sing along. Aaliyah tragically died, but we must not let her memory disappear. Her legacy, beauty and personality lives on through her music, and we must do our ... Read More:

This album is just great. The colborations with Busta, Beyonce, Foxy and Queen Latifah are just fab. The duet with Beyonce is better than the original. I never thought it was possible. This album has a lot of feeling and depth to it.

Despite being a 7-track EP and amazon charging you £4.98 for it, this is an extremely good live album. Mariah proves that she can sing live and proves all the critics wrong and blew critics and audiences away with her stunning vocal range!

158.Family Portrait by: Pink
December 09, 2002
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Music : Family Portrait
Pink's 4th installment from Mizzundazstod is Family Portrait. An RnBish, gloomy track on how Pink's childhood has been. It's sang from a child's point of view, with pleas of how mummy and daddy should get together, even just for pretend and make things right. The child cries how he or she would do anything, behave so much better just for the parents to get back together. It's a very poignant song, but very catchy with its RnB charm. This song really makes you feel for children with divorced parents, and gives a cold insight into how Pink's childhood has been. Overall, this is a brilliant song! Well done Pink!

160.Find Your Way by: Gabrielle

Music : Find Your Way
People who are new to Gabrielle may find this CD strangely upbeat compared to "Rise" and "Gabrielle" but don't be put off buying it. The songs on her debut album sound fresh, always optimistic. Dreams, is of course, the highlight. Its breathy vocals, simple message catchy lyrics make it a fantastic song. The similar Because Of You is also great. God only knows why "I Wanna Know" wasn't released its sounds really familiar and the beginning of Second Chance sounds incredibly like Wham's "Club Tropicana Drinks Are Free". One track does spoil it, the repititive "Inside Your Head" is the only track skippable. However if you leave it on the CD does not finish but after a two minute pause, Gabrielle talks about her stomach rumbling and then gives off ... Read More:
