This album is a great peice of work from destiny's child. It will always be their greatest album. The lyrics and beats are varied so much throughout. It has a mixed bag of love songs and sexy r n' b beats. My personal favorites on this album are "so good","bugaboo","hey ladies","jumpin jumpin","get on the bus". This album shows that DESTINY'S CHILD have talent, not just BEYONCE. It got everyone noticing that these girls were ready to take over the world by storm! **IT'S A MUST HAVE!!!!**

Man, I long for singers to sing with this passion now-a-days, including Simply Red. The majority of this album was written when sad old Red (aka Mick Hucknall) was living in a box room council flat and boy was he firey back then. The resentment, love and sorrow he had for life is conveyed in every note sung on this album to a degree he never really was able to reproduce. Maybe it was the money. Ironic, since it was Moneys Too Tight To Mention that caterpaulted them to their peak. I love this album for not only its mood, not only his firey raw voice but also for the superb melody and music. The throbbing of the double bass, the jazzy piano solos, brass crescendos all brought together in the superb reverb drenched recording and engineering. Read More:

3 stars because a few of the songs on this album are really good. but it was released at the time of her 'bennifer' relationship with mr affleck and that was disaster enough. the album is a bit lovey dovey and the 'ben' song makes me gag a bit, and must be embarrassing for both of them now. and in the album cover she wears real fur!!! which is one of the negatives about j.lo! other than that i'm a big fan. the album though - it's not her best effort but it passes - just.

I have liked Simply Red since their first album, but recent albums I have been disappointed. Having read a negative review here i was not too hopeful. I also thought it would be just Mick Hucknell singing solo (Sinatra style). I was wrong - this is an EXCELLENT album. Old and new. Slow and fast tracks, improved versions of old songs, a latin twist. If you like Simply Red - this is an excellent album. BUY IT.

All I can say is wow! If you like R&B, you're sure to love this album. Even today the beats still sound fresh. Brandy is one extremely talented young woman! I can listen to this album straight through without having to skip a single track. Brandy has a unique, clear and raspy voice which I just adore. My favourite tracks include: Angel In Disguise The Boy Is Mine (duet with Monica) Have You Ever? Top Of The World feat. Mase U Don't Know Me (Like U Used To) Almost Dosen't Count Happy Put That On Everything Truthfully 5/5 ~ Claire Elise Archibald

Great title and great cover but what does it mean? Love is not something most people would associate with a Russian Winter but it made me think of Dr Zhivago & that doomed love affair set in Russia. "Spirit Of Love" is typical Simply Red: slightly sorrowful vocal over a catchy up tempo beat and ""Your Eyes" is a typical Mick Hucknall ballad type track featuring very pleasant vocals; "The Sky Is A Gypsy" - similar but slightly more soulful with "Words For Girl Friends" being even better (& more personal?) "More Than A Dream" is one of the best tracks on the album, with a 'dreamy' reggae like feel to it. But for me the best track is "Thank You", sounding like a very good (rather than great)classic Simply Red ... Read More:

Well, Gabrielle has done it again! She provided us with the album 'Find your way', with the likes of 'Dreams' (brilliant song), but this album has out won them all! My favourite song, has to be 'Out of Reach', which is currently out at this present time which is also on the recent album 'Rise'. This album works because Gabrielle has included soulful tunes, which some are upbeat (e.g. 'when a woman') or just one's that you can relax to. So, you can listen to the album whatever mood your in! I hope the day will never come when Gabrielle stops making music, because the day she does music wouldn't be music without Gabrielle. So, keep on rolling out those tunes!

Jennifer Lopez's debut album is a mixture of different styles and sounds but is fairly subtle in doing this. There's pop, latino, rnb and a bit of dance added into some of the songs (especially Waiting Fot Tonight). If you like your pop music you should like this. However, I only gave this album 3 stars because no way are all the tracks good. They can get all to samey, but then again there are quite a lot of songs on the record. I have about 5 songs that I really really like, these are; - Let's get loud, a fiesty girl powered latino dance number. - Feelin' so good, has a heavy, pure Rnb vibe and features rapper Fat Joe. Have had this in my collection and wanted to order a second copy and was shocked by the lack of feedback. this album is a classic - its a combination of different musical styles and unlike most songs it actually has a message AND is entertaining. Every one who appreciates good music should watch this.

The album has an amzing blend of rhythm and is extremly well put together! Yeah it certainly has the edge and will make u want to listen to it more and more and will have you singing your heart out. 'Yeah' - with Ludacris, still undoubtedly the number 1 choon on the album. And if you buy the special edition copy u even get the amazing duet with Alicia Keys. A must have for any music lover.
