This album is really good. Come on - as if you didn't already know that! With the Foo Fighters there is a certain level of quality that you expect- and they always deliver.
The BEST songs on the album are 'Breakout'(I Love the screaming!), 'Learn To Fly'(A pop song, but still good), 'Live-Skin'(A good song for various reasons). There are other songs that are good as well. Such as 'Gimme Stitches', 'M.I.A, ect. but the first three songs I mentioned are really good and you will remember them for years to come.
The album only has a few bad songs which suffer from being very boring('Generator').
The album also has some acousic(y) songs to offer such as 'Next Year' and 'Ain't It the Life'. So basically, if you like the ... Read More:

It just amazes me each time I listen to this album. The enormous talent. The versatility. The sheer inventiveness.

It follows a succession of albums that have got better and better. I was so taken aback by Origin of Symmentry and when I saw Muse live I was so speechless at how talented Matthew Bellamy is. But this album.....

It's everything about it. You can hear the orchestral basis for so many of these songs translated into unbelievable howling guitars. The powerful and poignant lyrics. The inventiveness.

See them live when you can and see how amazing this band is. They are incredible.

This is a wonderful album. It marked Clapton's sobriety following his heroin usage, and has a theme of redemption and rebirth running through it. Also, there's a strong taste of someone who has turned himself inside and out.

In places, this is passionate, elsewhere playful, and in many places you can hear a man asking himself what he has left. Fantastic stuff, strongly recommended.

It's interesting reading all these other reviews, which tend to be either very positive or very negative. How anyone can possibly be the slightest bit disappointed with Long Road Out Of Eden is beyong me. To me this is one of their strongest releases and damn impressive. Some complain about its length, and that some of these songs shouldn't have been included, but apart from the cover of the dull Guilty Of The Crime I certainly do not agree. Others complain that some of the ballads are too soft and sentimental, but that was always a part of the Eagles sound (The Best Of My Love, I Can't Tell You Why, etc.), so - again! - I don't agree. I wouldn't want to be without Do Something (excellent), You Are Not Alone (very pretty melody) or I Don't Want To Hear Any ... Read More:

A beautiful record that I never tire of listening to. It has been with me a long time - my favourite record alongside Nirvana Unplugged - and has a terrific soothing quality.
The only thing I would question is the inclusion of "Ignoreland" which hints at their later political actions but does little to complement the album's mood of brooding but optimistic introspection.
Strangely, perhaps, I'm not a big fan of "Everybody Hurts" either. But the rest of the album is sheer brilliance, and more than the sum of its parts. "Sweetness Follows" and "Nightswimming" in particular are sublime.
The band would never be the same after Bill Berry left, witness his input into songs like "Find the River", probably my favourite track of all time.

I have never been proved wrong so convincingly in my life. If someone had asked me what I thought of The Smiths a year ago I would have said they were crap and depressing, if someone were to ask me what I thought of The Smiths now I would start rambling on about how ludicrously perfect ALL of their music is and this is the album that kicked off my obsession.I loved every song on this album from the second I heard it but the real stand out for me is There is a Light... in fact I would go as far as to say that listening to There is a Light That Never Goes Out was one of the best most life changing moments in recent memory, it got me hooked, I fell in love with the Smiths and I definatley consider it the best song of all time.
This album is literaly amazing, in fact anyone ... Read More:

Containing none of their most famous hits, 'Katy Lied' is nevertheless Steely Dan's most gorgeous collection of songs. There is perhaps less invention and more commercialism in the music, but this is deceptive, for the invention is in the writing. 'Bad Sneakers' features attention-grabbing twists in both music and lyrics, as does the lovely 'Doctor Wu', though, like many of the band's songs, its meaning is elusive. The opening image of suicide on the strident 'Black Friday,' by contrast, is stark. 'Everyone's Gone To The Movies' shows them in buoyant mood. One of the strokes they pull off here is the low-key sinister melody on vibes that lies beneath the jaunty main theme. 'Your Gold Teeth II' points the way toward their jazzier moments. Every track on here is a winner, right down to the ... Read More:

Death Cab for Cutie still amaze me, even today's bands fail to even compare to the careful hounest lyrics of Ben Gibbard.
This Album will blow you away from start to finish. My stand out track on this Album has to be "Your Heart is an Empty Room",belive me it'll tug at your emotions and make you think about your life.

This is by-far my favourite stereophonics album:
Superman: This is my all time favourite, it kick starts the album with a really catchy tune, the words though such as "Superman on an aeroplane sitting next to louis lane" is not anything i can relate to lol, but i just love Kelly's vocals it shows the strength his voice can go.
Doorman: Now this song i wasnt struck on when i first got the album, i thought it was a little too heavy with the rock n roll, but after playing the album over and over it has grown on me - i love the chorus where the guitar breaks down and Kelly's voice takes over, this song has got attitude!
Brother: i dont like the verses to this song but i love the chorus another rocky song.
Devil: Another all time favourite of mine!!! Love the verses, the voice, and the chorus! ... Read More:
