13.Someday At Christmas by: Stevie Wonder
October 26, 2001
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Music : Someday At Christmas
This is by far the best Christman album I've ever heard! It was recorded in 1967 when he was only 17 years old. He really creates a lovely atmosphere with this album, and all songs are wonderfully done (especially "Ave Maria" and "The Christmas Song"). There is a reason why this album has survived four decades...If you've got lots of Christmas music at home but you haven't got this one, then you've still got nothing! Get it NOW before Christmas arrives!!

A fantastic selection of classic songs sang by one of the world's foremost singers. Bocelli doesn't try to alter the sound of such classics as O Sole Mio and Ave Maria he simply graces these songs with his vocal richness. An important note, the UK version is a must as it features The Pearl Fisher's Duet which in its self is worth the price of the album.

If you are a fan of Toni Braxtons previous albums then you will not be disapointed by her latest offering. As stated in the review this sounds like a classic Toni album. The focus is on ballads the best of which is 'snowflakes of love'.
However 'christmas in jamaica' featuring shaggy is one of the highlights of the album. Other favourites include 'have yourself a merry little chistmas' where Braxtons distinctive voice is used to great effect. This is worth buying if you are a fan of Toni Braxton or just looking for a different kind of christmas album.

Reprise, released in November 2002, is Russell Watson's third album and probably represents a more confident and self assured release than his previous `The Voice' and `Encore', thanks to his increasingly successful concert touring and life in the limelight.

But it was also a worrying time during which he suffered a throat polyp, threatening to end his singing career, which was thankfully removed without causing long term problems to his voice.

The songs are a mix of classical, opera and popular, with a distinctly more dramatic feel to those opera choices, the best example being the version of `Granada' which takes on epic proportions with the orchestral score and an individual vocal interpretation which, while ... Read More:

18.Andrea Bocelli - A Night In Tuscany [1997] starring: Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman
directed by: David Amphlett

Music : Andrea Bocelli - A Night In Tuscany [1997]
This DVD is worth it for the last 2 tracks alone. Duets with Zuccero and Sarah Brightman, the rest is a bonus. As for the poor picture quality mentioned in a previous review - it is shot in high contrast - for effect in my opinion. I am a photographer so picture quality is important to me. This is within DVD quality tolerance.
Summary: - WONDERFUL - BUY IT.

Messers Elton and Curtis serve up a festive edition of the nations favourite sardonic, scheming and manipulative rogue, only this time he's an all round nice bloke. It's Christmas Eve and want is keenly felt, but unlike his self-centred ancestors, Ebeneezer Blackadder is the most benevolent man in old London town. Even the exploitation of his boundless generousity by Mrs Cratchitt (who's son 'Tiny' Tom should, the later-transformed Blackadder suggests, be scooped out and used as a houseboat), loathsome niece Millicent et al cannot dampen this paragon of altruism's good cheer. But in a twist on Dickens' classic tale, the arrival of the oversized Robbie Coltrane as the ghost of Christmas, sees the hero transformed from loveable philanthropist to loathsome ... Read More:
