I'm a big fan of the Pussycat Dolls...when I saw a video of their new song, I think they're very amazing my favourite is Nicole. She's the best and I like all of them too! This song makes me dance on my bed for five minutes and I really enjoy this tune! 'When I Grow Up'is a best song for 2008...very good when I'm not going out on Fridays and maybe if I'm goin for a jog, probably. :) Best song for 2008...if you are a fan of them...buy it! :D

I like many others recently dug this cd out of my collection.Most of you will think you are familiar with this work but let me assure you that you are not!!! The melodies and beats on this album are beyond ctiticism even for those of you that do not like hip-hop.A soulful set that will; in time, without question be regarded as a swansong to the twentieth century.Truly a classic which I think the fact no follow up album has been released testifies to the musical genious of Ms.Hill.How exactly do you follow up hip-hop/soul/r'n'b perfection? Lyrically and musically this album set a benchmark that has not really been matched within black music.

This is one of a pair of British budget compilations that are as good as any I've seen, with an excellent mix of famous and obscure songs and all the singers you expect to hear. Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, the Jackson five and Stevie Wonder are each represented by three tracks. In my opinion this is the first time a collection has been released on Dusty that truly covers her career properly. I may be biased! All of the US and UK hits from the sixties in their original Mono mixes as well as a healthy dose of her Atlantic soul period with all the comeback hits at the end. This is the one to get whether your new to Dusty or even if you think you have everything. No fan should be without this one.

In all honesty these have to be some of the most moving pieces I have ever listened to.As described in the title Charlie is among family and friends and the entire album resonates with that atmosphere.You can easily tell that everyone feels very much "at home" and there is an obvious lack of competing for first place. Bruce Hornsby on piano and Pat Metheny's measured acoustic guitar playing are absorbing. The Sally Gardens track almost reduced me to tears.Simply beautiful. I'm still recovering. Thanks Charlie.

As a 40 something white male, I'm not the demographic for this album, and my normal reaction to the likes of "Troubled Singer" Amy Winehouse, Kate Allen, Lily Nash etc is to flip the off button. So I was surprised - and pleased - to find that this is a very good album on the whole. Its good points are 1. The Music - though it is full of the currently fashionable horns and 60s soul sound, it doesn't sound contrived or consciously "retro". On the contrary, it sounds very contemporary - the sort of thing that gives "pop" a good name. 2. Singer Imani Coppola has a great voice 3. This is a re-record from 1998-ish. I own it - I was on holiday and in desperate need of some Johnny when I bought it. Unfortunately this is rubbish. Spend your money elsewhere. There are much better albums out there with the original recordings!

As pointed out by previous customers, the track listing in this cd is basically the same as the one in the previous collection "Level Best". "Why bother, then?", you might ask. I'll tell you why. The songs have been (as you'd expect) beautifully remastered, and sound like they never did. I already owned "Level Best", but I'm surely glad I purchased this one too. I mean, just listen to that bass pumping...

This is an amazing album full of hits which were classis, even just after release all those years ago. The fact that they still sound great is testament to the man. I tried to find one song which i didnt like or didn't hum along to, but it was impossible. Buy it!
