Norman Jay (MBE) is at the helm of an eighth collection issued under the title 'Good Times', although unlike previous volumes this is issued on the Azuli Record label, and bears the addition 'London' to the title legend. But it isn't all about change (in a reflection of Jay's recent departure from BBC London), the compilation still features the usual two cds of records apparently chosen personally by Norman. Given that this is the eighth compilation in the series one might expect the law of dimishing returns to have begun, as the tracks which are widely and generally acknowledged as 'classics' have already been included in previous editions - and Jay does appear to have chosen tracks which (for the most part) are not likely to have been chosen or ... I love this album when i first got i could not stop listening 2 it, so here is a breakdown of all the tracks. Stay- we all know this song great beat with ne-yo's slick vocals Like me get this right- Again great beat and a great tune So sick-This song never gets boring When you mad- His third single, love the video,it is about how he think's his girlfriend is even more sexy when she is mad, this is actually a personal experience of his, coz he said this on choice fm radio, brillant radio station. I have to admit, i wasn't a big fan of Christina when she first came out. I thought she would just turn out to be a typical bubble-gum pop icon. However this album has proved me wrong. In a word, this album is AMAZING!! When i was growing up my parents would always be playing old soul and blues music, which i loved, this album is like a tribute to that style of music. I think other artists these days should go Back to Basics, and make good listening music rather than just club tracks all the time. Stand out tracks include: Makes me wanna pray, Back in the day, Ain't no other man, Understand and Mercy On Me.

in my opinion this is the best of all the pink albums there is, "im not dead" is very good too, but this one is so cool and every single on of the songs is brilliant! pink is so cool!

Although not as widely popular in the U.S. as in England, 5 Star managed to score several hits. Most U.S. audiences first became aware of them from "All Fall Down", which hit the R&B and dance charts. "Can't Wait Another Minute" and "If I Say Yes" are prime examples of Brit-Pop at it's finest. Why they never became super huge here is still a mystery.

Every track is different, but everyone oozes class. A brilliant production, helped with the influence of Kanye West' talents, this CD just grows and grows. It has guest features from Snoop Dogg to Kanye West himself. The album runs smoothly and builds itself on being easy listening, catchy and varied. With so much quality in every track, its hard for me to say its not one of my favourite cds ever, buy it!

There have been numerous 'Best Of George Benson' compilations over recent years, none of which have been all-inclusive (that is a probable marketing ploy). This re-packaged selection continues the trend; having said that, it does serve as a pleasing introduction to the superb fusion jazz/R&B/pop that Mr Benson serves up masterfully.

The GREATEST SINGER EVER !!!! There are many great singers in this world but Aretha's in a class no one can top. My Elite List (which includes Aaron Neville and other legends) has Aretha at the TOP !!! That voice is from a place none of us will ever get to. Angels blessed Aretha's vocal chords and went back and blessed them again. This album has so many unbelievable classic songs. Aretha is one of my heroes. If I could sing like her for the day it would be a dream. An outstanding album. Listen with amazement. Enjoy every second. You will love every song. Aretha...THANK YOU SO MUCH. Your voice lifts my spirit and to be in your presence would be a dream.

After "Bees And Things And Flowers," I was so looking forward to "Tales" (and maybe that was the problem)that I almost ripped the cd out of the posties hands. But after a couple of listens I was ready to consign it to the "looks like they are on the downslope" section of my cd collection.The more laid back acoustic groove of what I thought was merely a stop gap release in "Bees....." remained and I was left thinking, where had they left their funkiness? HOWEVER......I am happy to report I was very very wrong. Having stuck with it "Tales..." is actually a very mature collection of songs from a band who are at the top of their playing/singing abilities.
