I remember the first time I met someone else who also knew this album. That was about 20 years ago in France, and the bloke was a Punk bloke with the most extreme look and a pronounced taste for very hardcore music. For some reason he was at my place for a party and at some point I played this album. That certainly got his attention as he already knew and loved this album and we struck a lasting immediate friendship there and then. I think this is the moct important thing about this album. It transcends the closed up Dub world to a larger experimental world of open minded people. The title of this album says it all. This is such a great collection of songs I don't know where to start. If you're new to Marley then you can't do better than this album, and if you're already a fan then this a great collection of his stuff in one place. Worth it for 'No woman no cry' alone! Brilliant summer music, or any time of the year it's that good!

The title of this album says it all. This is such a great collection of songs I don't know where to start. If you're new to Marley then you can't do better than this album, and if you're already a fan then this a great collection of his stuff in one place. Worth it for 'No woman no cry' alone! I couldn't give this five stars, because there are a few dud tracks on there. But at the price it is well worth the money, because there are loads of great tunes. In fact it is worth the cash just to get a copy of 'Rukumbine'. There is a groovy ska version of the James Bond theme, and a couple of minor key instrumental grooves that really get you dancing. Also 'A little oil in my lamp' is a great singalong ska version of a traditional song, with a gospel feel to it. I don't know why they chose to start the CD with the Prince Buster tune which is more of a reggae style and not like the rest at all (although it's not a bad tune).

Lock, stock and 2 smoking barrels is a crime tale about a group of friends from London who happen to lose a game of poker, they end up in a lot of debt thus having to get out of it. The story takes many twists & turns and will also make you laugh as it has a very good use of wry & dark humor. The plot evolves around one man but there are many characters who share as if not more an important role. The star of the show in this movie is Vinnie Jones who acts brilliantly. I recomed 'Snatch' If you like this.

Personly this is my favourite Bob marley album there all good(exellent)but this is the best with classics like EXODUS/THREE LITTLE BIRDS/ONE LOVE/WAITING IN VAIN/JAMMING you tell me there not some of marleys best work?so this is a must, but if your a big fan like me you'll get them all.

I swear you will not find a better summery album anywhere. Put this mix of punk and ska on and you can feel the sun shining even in the middle of winter. Please don't be put off by the fact that the band are called Rancid, even if you are not into 'punk' this album is amazing musically (especially the bass playing). This album has to be one of the best i've ever heard, so do yourself a favour and buy it.

This CD is worth buying for Bush Doctor alone. A brilliant fast blues/jazz-type piano played over a pumping bass rhythm and driving reggae rhythm. This is an instrumental of Peter Tosh' record of the same name - but that's what the Music Doctors did par excellence. It was also used as the backing track for Madness' Don't Quote Me On That. Warefare is also brilliant. I have both in vinyl and was really pleased to find them on CD. Reggae in your jeggae a lot with this one...
