Similar to previous review, I wasn't sure on first listen, a bit disappointed it wasn't a typical Fatboy house mix. But I gave it another chance and there are mainly cracking tunes on there which really grow on you. I've now been playing this CD every other day for a few weeks and seem to enjoy it more each time. I would recommend anyone to buy this - it will open you to some great tunes you've never heard before.

This edition is a combined version of the Greatest Hits packages that were available a few years back. Divine Madness was originally released almost 15 years ago but a few years ago it was updated with re-mastered sound and two extra tracks, Love Struck and Johnny the Horse from their come-back album in 1999. A Madness collection really could hardly be any more complete. All the hits are here and sounding remarkably fresh, being more than 20 years old. The sound of the CD is much better than the original version of Divine Madness. Only the most die hard Madness fans need any more than this collection, with the possible exception of their brilliant (but commercial flop) Mad Not Mad. This is classic Madness in one perfect ... The great man had lots of great albums but this for me was his best. This is the hardest. Uncompromising lyrics backed up by solid rhythms.

Good selection of tracks, and good sound. Only downside- cd cover has no history, or lyrics. You can go to YouTube.com to see videos of Johnny singing "I can see clearly now" plus a good cover by Jimmy Cliff in the '80s.

Man, this is a bad album. Unless you like reggae or ska of course, in which case it's fine. But if you're looking to buy this as a back catalogue of Gwen Stefani, then please don't, it really isn't very listenable.

3rd Album from the House of Dread and what a beauty! Biological Radio (and the other 3 Dreadzone albums) is deserving of more recognition than it gets; it delivers everything from upbeat dance dub (Moving on) to the spiritual (Earth Angel, Dream within a Dream). I'm biased, but I believe you cant go wrong with Dreadzone.

After the shock of just how well their almost garage-recorded debut album, "Signing Off" was received, UB40 found themselves a decent studio (not that the first album had bad sound in any way at all), found that they already had a reputation and considerable kudos amongst the punk/new wave fallout and laid down more of the same formula. As in "Signing Off", the band blended a rock steady, chugging reggae rhythm with Brian Travers' trademark deep saxophone and Ali Campbell's mournful, often incomprehensible voice to produce the UB40 sound. This time they expanded just a little to allow resident band toaster "Astro" free reign on dubby, vocally improvised tracks like "Lamb's Bread" and the intoxicating "Don't Let It Pass You By", with it brassy, almost funky beat, congas and ... Probably the best album I own of any genre! It's actually two albums: Marcus Garvey, and Garvey's Ghost, which is a dub remix of Marcus Garvey. It's so good, I can't really think of anything else to say: words don't do it justice!
