I am a nine year old boy and my teacher got our class to read Just So Stories. I think it was okay and can be hard to understand. The illustrations were different to other stories. It was funny at some parts and I enjoyed it. But at some parts there was some dificult to understand the language. I recommend this book to people who were around at the time it was written.

i have been to see the stage show three times and every time it becomes more and more magical. there is nothing that can top it, or the original film. the music has much more of an african influence on this cd but that just makes it better. listening to the circle of life still sends shivers up my spine even after the 100th listening. you must buy this cd if you have seen the show, and even if you havent then it will make you want to see it. proof that even perfection can be improved!!!

I bought this cd because Amazon offered it as a double deal for under a tenner! I loved the last song - Somewhere over the Rainbow and thought why not treat yourself to it, it costs nothing! Anyway,it is such a beautiful collection and I totally love it. Very relaxing to listen to but in no way boring, it lulls you, then teases you, then absorbs you - superb. I think it allows you to have a glass of wine and ponder or as I just did peel the potatoes and ponder!!! There's more than one gem on this cd - it is a collection of gems. Treat yourself!

Very nice cd, that brings many pleasant memories of the film. It captures the spirit of France and "paints" a musical landscape of France with the small villages, cabares, cafes and much much more.

A timeless album... I bought it for the song by Sarah McLachlan (Angel) and it was worth it for that one track which is so beautiful that it never fails to make me stop and stare. The rest of the album follows suit, particularly Peter Gabriel (I Grieve). If you like music to think to, this is for you.

I'm giving this CD 5 stars as it is an excellent time capsule, apart from Will You there probably isn't another song in here that would be a hit today but is an excellent example of poppy punk/new wave music from 1980. I remember seeing the film in the mid 80's and buying the album the very next day, loved it and still do today. For 3 pounds you can't go wrong (the sax solo on Will You is worth that on its own) It's a shame that there is no current DVD of the film as it creates a good feel for the environment in which this album was written. There is an angst in the more punky songs like Big Brother and Blackman which for me make these stand out tracks and the change of tempo in Who Needs It still excites me 20 years on as the song winds ... What's the first thing thing that comes to your mind when you hear the album title? Da Da Da Duu. DAH DAH DAH... The haunting theme tune is now a popular ringtone..shows the lasting value in a time of ever changing tastes and technology. The rest of the album stands out especially Story of A Soldier.

The Order of the Phoenix is the weakest in the Harry Potter books but I still gave it 4 stars, this just shows how good the books are. JK Rowling is an amazing author.

Great wonderful music - you don't need me to tell you that. The excellent score from a much loved film, this contains some timeless moments. And given that a lot of money has clearly been spent updating the packaging and background detail, you'd be forgiven for thinking the producers would have taken the trouble to remaster the music. Not so. It is probably the worst recording I have ever paid money for - echoey, compressed and with very little bass. If you can imagine dangling a small television over one end of your bath while using an ear trumpet at the other end to record the sound onto an old computer cassette recorder, you get some idea of how bad this sounds. A travesty, which sounds FAR worse than the DVD played through my ordinary television. What ... Read More:
