Most of the classical songs are great sung very well by talented singers, but don't expect the original artists from the stage shows as they're not on there. Some of the more modern songs weren't so great and We Will Rock You was played like a fanfare for HRH the Queen, that was a real let down, no hand clapping or headbanging, there are more electric guitars in Phantom!!! If like orchestras this is for you, if you want songs from original cast members don't bother.

One Tree Hill - The Road Mix is the third soundtrack instalment from popular hit TV show 'One Tree Hill'. The album contains an addictive and varied mix from a variety of artists who have either performed or had their music featured on the show. Any fans of the show are bound to love this album, especially if you're a fan of the amazing music featured on it. From Lupe Fiasco's genius 'I gotcha' song to La Rocca's heartbreaking 'Non-Believer', this soundtrack is full of excellent music that you'll want to play over and over again. There isn't a bad track on this CD and it's well worth the price you pay.

Most musical recordings seem choppy mostly because they are, and are rendered from the stage play, so of course they wouldn't make that much sense. MY FAIR LADY holds up well and you don't get this sense. The entire ablum is a gem and there's not a sour note in it.

Anyone who LOVES this movie will love this improved soundtrack, with the tracks in the order they are played in the film. Every song will have you reminiscing the exact scene it's from.... from the opening Be my Baby with the slow-mo dancing to the ultimate goosebump moment of "The Lift" during I've Had the Time (extended version in this CD).

Blood Brothers, the ledgendary musical by Willy Russell. This is the first CD from the show which features the original cast including Barbara Dickson. Since this version was released the show has evolved into something quite different. So if you are looking for something which resembles the show in its current state then this probably isnt the CD for you. However if you are a traditionalist then it may just well be. The other thing which lets this version down is the lack of any of the speech. The CD is literally just the singing where as later versions (Kiki Dee, Stephanie Lawrence and Petula Clark) all have some of the speaking parts which make them easier to follow. I was a fan of the original radio series of HHGTTG and I was delighted to discover these CDs. This is a great follow-on from the first series, with even more sublimely outrageous scenarios as Zaphod survives the Total Perspective Vortex and Arthur discovers the remains of a civilisation based entirely on shoe-shops. There is no better way to pass a long car jorney - my kids love these CDs, and you can listen to them again and again. When Rula Lenska appeared on Celebrity Big Brother my boys knew exactly who she was - Lintilla (and her millions of clones). Luckily for Rula there was no Allitnil in the CBB house or she would have been neutralised instantly.......

I've seen the movie twice. I enjoyed the music too. Most of the themes are known and popular and I was decided to buy it for just 2 reasons: Gabriel Yared's delicious score (the music while Richard is looking at Jennifer looking at the window in Miss Mitzi's school)and the tango they dance togheter. I hate when moviemakers discard a score to sell songs.

i have been to see the stage show three times and every time it becomes more and more magical. there is nothing that can top it, or the original film. the music has much more of an african influence on this cd but that just makes it better. listening to the circle of life still sends shivers up my spine even after the 100th listening. you must buy this cd if you have seen the show, and even if you havent then it will make you want to see it. proof that even perfection can be improved!!!
