I bought this to take on holiday with us. We sang along to it for hours.

A totally uplifting soundtrack with both well known songs from the film and some quality unreleased additions. The children in my class love marching to 'the elephant song'and track 6 is a great 'tidy-up song'. I couldn't recommend this this varied selection of songs more!

I watched Dirty Dancing about 2 weeks ago and fell in love with it. I loved the music most of all so bought this soundtrack. But then I noticed Ultimate Dirty Dancing, which is cheaper on Amazon and has all of the songs in Dirty Dancing! This one has about 12. Rubbish.

Like the last reviewer, and many, many others, The Blues Brothers was a film I first watched when I was about 10 and it introduced me to a whole new world of music. This soundtrack was the first record I ever owned and it is where I first heard a lot of artists that I may otherwise never of heard of, since I had only really listened to pop and ska before. This is a great collection and younger people especially will find it it very educational. If you enjoy the soundtrack it would also be a good idea to look up some of the other artists featured in the film but not on the soundtrack, like Sam and Dave and John Lee Hooker. would not have bought this if i would of read the reviews first the cover looks like the new show will not buy from this company again

The tracks by Coldplay and Keene are excellent....my heart and soul and eyes shed a tear of joy, brilliant music, re-created into an excellent classical arrangement...I hope they do some more!!!!

Before watching Sharpe I had never heard of John Tams, and quite frankly my music collection was the poorer for it! This album is a fantastic mix of score from the shows and traditional folk songs of the period performed by Tams and his mate Barry Coope with an amazing guest performance from the wonderful Kate Rusby. A must have for all fans of John Tams, Kate Rusby, Sharpe and great British folk music! Nar x

never ever liked abba 30 years on i still can't stand them now this ******* film has regurgatated their dire music once again ..mamma mia!!!!! i would nt give it any star ratings but it was the only way to move on mamma mia!!!!
