This is of course the sound track to the Hugh Grant/Drew Barrymore romantic comedy Music and Lyrics. If you've seen the film and enjoyed it, you'll love this. It's got all the versions described in the blurb on the Amazon item, and although I inevitably skip all of the quite frankly terrible (but deliberately so, so it's not that bad) Cora Corman songs, I really, really love the ones that involved Hugh Grant. They include the brilliantly bad 80s records by his character's band Pop, joyous in their accurate send up of the 80s pop scene, bad because they are more schmaltzy than you can imagine. 'The count' really seems to divide people into love or loathe camps, so you really shouldn't buy this unless you've heard him and fall into the former category. It's hard to pin down exactly why he is so funny, and like 'League of Gentlemen' or 'I'm sorry I haven't a clue', you'll either 'get it' or you won't. Personally, he makes me laugh like a slithering giberate, blithering sibarate, erm, simpering celebate, oh for pitty's sake, you know what I mean!!!

This is an amazing album even if you have never heard of One Tree Hill, although those that have will certainly appreciate the emotion of the songs. Some stand out tracks include When The Stars Go Blue, it is truly an amazing cover, i only wish there was the other Bethany Joy Lenz songs on this album. Also good is Glad by Tyler Hilton and i love The Good Kind by the Wreckers. Sheryl Crow's accoustic 'First Cut' is definately a skip to moment. This soundtrack will help fans remember so good moments of the series and possibly encourage people to watch One Tree Hill as the music is as key as the characters and writers.

Robbie was the star of Take That and this album shows why. It is a combination of Frank Sinatra and Elvis. And the likeness is not restricted to singing. Sinatra and Presley also made movies as well as great music and now Robbie is following in their footsteps. I cant wait to see him as East End gangster Harry Harris in the movie version of the Garry Jackson novel Till Death Us Do Part.

A timeless album... I bought it for the song by Sarah McLachlan (Angel) and it was worth it for that one track which is so beautiful that it never fails to make me stop and stare. The rest of the album follows suit, particularly Peter Gabriel (I Grieve). If you like music to think to, this is for you.

A good musical score is can what often make a good film excellent, as is the case with Master and Commander. The soundtrack is classical but not stuffy, energetic without being intrusive. In other words, just excellent. If you enjoyed the film then it is a certainty that you will love the score.

I love this great CD, it's fun to listen to. My favourite track is of course My name is Tallulah. If you love the film you will love this CD!

My family and I loved the movie Shrek (of course!), and for Christmas my eleven-year-old daughter asked for this soundtrack. We got it for her, and we are all very happy! The songs sound wonderful: crisp and clear. My whole family recommends this wonderful CD to you. Plus, I must say that with this soundtrack is so wonderful that I would recommend it even to those who have never seen the movie. It's absolutely great!

A brave move to set a period film against the backdrop of a very modern soundtrack, but in this case, it works, and very well too. Fans of the movie will love this soundtrack, but it's also just a great CD, one that should be a staple of any collection. The clever reworkings of so many old hits, El Tango de Roxanne in particular, give a new flavour to the tracks and help to up the kitsch value of the movie. Although it was a huge worldwide hit, it was certainly quirkier than most of your five-star movies, and the soundtrack is exactly the same. The Elephant Love Medley is a sparkling blend of too many songs to count, but you'll have fun trying to name them all, if you're not too caught up in just how wonderful Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman are.
