Not being an expert on country music or on Johnny Cash, I must say this album is moving and very very suggestive; with simple but clever arrangements, beautiful songs and amazing vocal... Obviously more than merely touched by age and various ailments, mr. Johnny Cash performes with great passion and suggests wisdom no young singer can convey (or even come close to conveying)... I like it very much!

Being a rock guitar freak of two decades' standing, it is with embarrassment that I confess to only having heard this record for the first time in my 39th year. Clearly I went to the wrong school and hung out with the wrong, self conscious types, and stupidly we looked askance at this bogan rock. More fool us. What a remarkable, single minded, self-assured, exuberant record this is, and what a master stroke for a bunch of scot-inflected teenaged aussies to have settled on such a perceptively observed formula and executed on it so flawlessly (and stuck with it for the thirty years since!). This album is, despite only being a year old, classic Eagles, and one of their best. It was worth the wait, as although it's polished and sounds perfect, it is full of raw, real emotions, and every line is delivered with that feeling as a driving force. I was also impressed they kept the momentum going with two discs, 21 tracks in fact, of consistently beautiful music, each song speaking directly to me as a listener and making me believe everything they're singing. This is also a brilliant showcase of the different genres covered, from pure heartbreak as we can hear in I Don't Want To Hear Any More, to catchy, commercial almost pop sounds in How Long, to folkier music in No More Walks In The Wood, and a few others in between. The album was fantastic! The selection of songs was good. The songs are beautifully sung; I especially enjoyed `Don't Know Why' and `Nightingale'. Norah has a great voice, her music is soothing. NORAH JONES - come away with me, is definitely a good buy!

So Roger Waters threw the toys out of the pram and spat out his dummy. Who the hell cares? He went on to have a successful solo career and jolly good luck to him. But to then say, oh well Pink Floyd is no longer in existence and this is a Gilmour solo album, under the name of Pink Floyd, is frankly infantile. This is David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Rick Wright and they are as much the essence of Pink Floyd as Roger Waters ever was. Oh and by the way if Roger Waters was so damn sure that Floyd could not exist without him, why did he take such trouble to exclude Rick Wright and draw up legal papers preventing him from ever rejoining the group? Fabulous CD, it doesnt take itself too seriously, this isnt serious house music... its hands up in the air - peaktime, party time fun... just what you need at this time of year. Great value for money, some exclusive remixes and a corking unmixed winter chill lounge cd as disk three that i guarantee will NOT be off your ipod this winter season. :)

I hate to criticise Lazytown because we love it and everything it stands for - but we are a bit disappointed by the music on this CD compared to the first CD. It is by the same person/lyricists, however, it does not have the energy/dance qualities of the first album - and it is spoilt by the distracting/off-putting american accents of the puppets which are not the real voices from the shows and are so different that it sounds like they have all become teenagers and everyone's voice has broken! My other criticism of this product is that the DVD is not as good because there is not an option to play ALL songs- you have to keep going in and out of menus to play each tune which is annoying because I can't leave my kids watching it and get on with the housework as I am continuously ... I really liked Katie's first two albums but delayed buying this one for over 6 months because of all the poor reviews. And, having finally decided "what the heck,I'll see for myself", I was disappointed when I first played it through - despite having low expectations because of the reviews. Then I played it again and it wasn't quite so bad. And then I played it a lot in the car (& had the other albums there for comparison). And it grew and grew and grew on me. And now it is probably my favourite album of hers. My favourite tracks have varied over time, and I probably still feel that the middle is a little weaker. Certainly, some of the lyrics are rather naff (and even irritating) - but 'twas ever so, and also true of other artists. What it doesn't have is anything with ... Read More:

Very ,very dissapointed with this CD, heard a bit on classic FM, rushed out to buy it, There have been 100s of albums with pipes and drums, and I though being The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards it would be superior. I regret having spent my money on this CD. look for budget CDs of pipe music, you will probably get the real thing, and much better.

With its incessant piano hook and heart-felt lyrics, "Love Song" caught my attention immediately as one of the most impressive debut singles I've heard on pop radio. So is it true with the rest of "Little Voice" which demonstrates that Sara Bareilles has an incredibly bright future ahead as a compelling chanteuse of original piano-based pop rock music (I'd like to think of her as someone with the melodic richness of a Sarah McLaughlin coupled with the sarcastic, hip lyrics and excellent musical chord writing of a Randy Newman.). Her stylistic influences range all over the map, from the fusion jazz of "Vegas" to the soft rock pop of "Love Song".
