Fear Factory sat down, and they wrote an album. However, it wasn't so hard because they took their groundbreaking debut album(Soul Of A New Machine), and used the crunching riffs and roaring vocals to build a brand new collection of tracks. Admittedly, only six tracks, but six excellent tracks. Fear Factory are the most respected and volatile band on the planet, not a single bad thing is said about them because there IS NOTHING TO CRITICISE. This is a gret piece of work, taking their tracks and making them sound like new songs. It is nothing like Remanufacture, which is just shallow Dance with FF samples. You can tell the band weren't as involved in Remanufacture's remix than on Fear Is The Mindkiller. BUy this, but only if you like the first ... Read More:

Carcass proved that the glimmers of genius they presented to us on their first two fuzz packed records, was ready to burst out into what they had always subconciously wanted to play. Grind tinged death metal with real melody, but shredding riffs and concrete drum barages !!!
Adding the ever young looking Michael Amott to their ranks, they gained a real thinker in melodic guitar metal, but took nothing from their famous aggressive streak.
The opener 'Inpropagation', starts with a recorded mortuary sample, and then cuts into one of the best riffs Carcass have ever written.
Lyrically they are still messing about with medical and pathological text books, and it doesn't really matter whats being said, as its all pretty much redundant ... Read More:

I'm not too sure why no one has written a review of this yet, or why it's unavailable..but what I DO know is that this is an important ND album that's definately worth owning. Between the 45 second harsh songs on Scum and the "return to form" of Order of the Leech, ND diversed intensely in their sound, and I think this is a great example of their creativity. Some would say it's boring and uninspired, namely the hardcore metalheads who just look for the fastest riffs and the most brutal drum sound, and no, this isn't the best Napalm album, but it deserves a listen at least.

Find it at all costs! Try and get the Digipack version for the bonus tracks [which are also very good]

This album is awesome in my opinion and it has some really heavy riffs. Great lyrics vocals and solos as usual by megadeth. Best songs are The World Needs A Hero, Burning Bridges, Recipe For Hate Warhorse, 1000 time goodbye & Dread And he Fugitive Mind. This is a great metal album by Megadeth. This album is really hard to find for some reason so i downloaded mine cause i couldnt find it anywhere if you can find it buy it it rocks

Music : Digimortal
Fear Factory were at the forefront of 90s metal alongside bands like Machine Head and Sepultura. Sadly all of these bands have taken poor routes forward.
Machine Head began to experiment with rap on Burning Red and seriously slumped on Supercharger.
Sepultura discovered nu-metal and went downhill from there.
Fear Factory did the worst of all: experimented with rap(Back The F**k Up on this album), extremely limited themselves with a concept on each album (man vs. machine) and this is the equivalent of Supercharger. Its weak and seemingly rushed, the signs of a band on their last legs.
Fear Factory were an awesome band 5 years ago and the live show was simply bludgeoning.
Its just a shame they wanted commercial success than staying a proper metal ... Read More:

Morbid Angel, Formulas Fatal to the Flesh - Way back in the year of 1989 the Death Metal godfathers ‘Morbid Angel’ released their debut album ‘Altars Of Madness’. The album saw a new wave of extreme metal form through its creation, hailing the group as one of the most influential metal bands ever. From there on in, the band have released album after album of intense Death Metal with an ever evolving and adapting sound that proved ‘Morbid Angel’ to be unique and very talented metal gods.

A fair few albums later, the band released their sixth album ‘Formulas Fatal To The Flesh’ in the year of 1998. The album saw a major turning point for the band as Steve Tucker joined as bassist and vocalist in the previous year, bringing ... Read More:

This is evil, most of those that followed are just as much of a masquerade as toddlers on Halloween. Recorded on the eve of May Day,Walpurgis Night, a Cloven Hoofed beast pressed play on a tape player possessed by the spirit of Vlad Þepeº, whilst Quorthon grizzled and gnarled his way through an unholy onslaught of riffs. Duc de Richleau and Rex can't save you now, they're stuck in traffic and didn't take the tube because they harbour xenophobic sentiments, your Satanic baptism is about to occur and the soundtrack is `Under the Sign of the Black Mark' and Satan records the first note!

Rather than conjuring the cold and wintry images that most black metal does, `Under the Sign of the Black Mark' has the listener feeling immensely hot, sweat breaking on their brow, as if they ... Read More:
