Music : Amen
Wow a fantastic debut from Californian band And what a Debut it is! This is quite origanl music in its own right (just look at the people trying to put this music in a Genre), We've got everything from Heavy metal to Punk. This music to me isn't Nu-Metal in any way shape or form (I aint got nothing against Nu-Metal, some of my favourite Bands are Nu-Metal SlipKnoT and Korn for example)Some-one said this is heavy Metal well it isnt sorry these songs are short little anthems with no guitar Solo's while Hevy Metal is long 6 Miniute songs full of guitar solo's (Take the great Metallica and Iron Maiden for example). I fell this music is more punk then anything else, Punk with metal infused into the music. Anyway back to the Album Its self.

Music : Sound of White Noise
This was the first anthrax album I ever bought way back when it was released and still to this day it is one of my favourite metal albums. It STOMPS all over the place.

The songs are excellent with great heavy riffs and John Bush's vocals are superb. Best tracks on here are only, Hy Pro Glo but the rest are excellent.

Can't believe they reunited with Joey Balladonna. Bush is a better frontman and Anthrax were a better band with him

Blood-Rooted is an absolute clinker. The album serves as a collection of most of the band's B-Sides, most of which are live tracks recorded live in Minneapolis which (I suppose unfortunately) have better production merits than either of the band's full live releases. Although a few tracks from the show are left out here, all but one of the highlights make the cut (the immensely fun "Anticop", a re-ordered version of the less-than-classic dud "Antichrist" from the band's rubbish first EP, Bestial Devastation), but the one-two punch of a blistering "Refuse/Resist" and an excellently mixed "Slave New World" more than make up for it.

As far as the non-live tracks go, all but 3 are worth the price of the CD alone, especially considering you ... Read More:

Kreator kick ass, sadly this album doesn't.
The only similarity it has with megadeth is the first songs guitar style is similar to symphony of destruction from countdown (1991)other than that.. nothing. No Rust in Peace sound alikes, no so far so good sound alikes, i brought this album purly because i am collecting kreator and i want my collection complete, i got this next though instead of 'violent revolution' (which i hope is better than this) purly on the review below, the review below is crap! Personally i'd say if your getting into kreator and you're a fan, then EVENTUALLY get this album yes, you have to stay true and buy 'em all but for gods sake don't get it first or second or third....or 4th or 5th or 6th...
Its not the worse album, ... Read More:

Napalm Death's 3rd album Harmony Corruption remains a controversial album amongst the bands fans, as it represents a huge change in musical styles from the bands previous two albums. For the second time in their relatively short career this album marks an almost complete change in band personnel, with only drummer Mick Harris (now the only remaining member who actually played on Napalm's first album Scum) and bassist Shane Embury remaining, while out go vocalist Lee Dorian (who would go on to form Cathedral) and guitarist Bill Steer (who would go on to further success with Carcass) and in come new vocalist Barney Greenway and guitarists Jesse Pintado and Mitch Harris.

While the first huge line-up change in Napalm Death ranks saw the band continuing ... Read More:

Just to correct the chap above, drumming on THE EYE was done using a drum machine with King & Snowy involved in it's programming. King Diamond after many many years confirmed this was true, as many KD fans like myself had suspected this due to the drum sound and how perfect each cymbal crash sounded.
This was to my knowledge the only time this was done and I think it was done to save time more than anything else. I've been a fan of KD/MF for about 21yrs now, everything this guy writes is a masterpiece, call it bias or whatever, but when you have loved a band this long there's no going back.
Don't be put off, the drum machine sound is superb and really suits the album, one of the best produced machines I've heard on a metal album, the songs are brilliant. This ... Read More:

Roorback is the third entry in Sepultura's Derrick Green-led career, and it is yet another album by this lineup that both surpasses anything from their so-called heyday and holds its own as a full on metal masterpiece.

Roorback is the band's first major release for SPV Records, and although the albums barely get any promotion its not because of a lack of quality. If the albums saw a bit more advertising they might shift a few more copies and get the reputation they so deserve. Roorback sees the band return to a style of mostly faster material. The opening industrial clunking gives way to Come Back Alive, very fast and very hard. From here on the album varies between uptempo thrashers and more downbeat, moody numbers, arguably the better material as once again, we see ... Read More:
