This album has everything I love about Folds' music - it's witty, sarcastic and acerbic, but when you least expect it - after tracks matching that description such as Hiroshima, Free Coffee, Dr Yang - out of nowhere comes Cologne, which is a little more 'Songs for Silverman' and delivers like an emotional blow to the chest. I love Ben Folds, and 'Way to Normal' shows why you should, too.

Im not a massive fan of drum n bass and dont think i ever will be but 'In Silico' has certainly drawn me in and made me think twice. I constantly listened to Radio 1 talking about how great Pendulum were so i thought i had to listen for myself and see if they were all they were cracked up to be!! They certainly didnt disappoint! I only brought this album at the weekend and it has been playing on my car radio ever since. 'Propane Nightmares' is probably the stand out track on the album and the most recognisable to any non-pendulum fan but 'The Other Side', '9,000 Miles' & 'Granite' are other faviroutes. A must buy for anyone!

Having gotten fairly familiar with the album, then leaving it for a while to make sure it wasn't post-release enthusiasm, I can now honestly say that I believe this is the band's best effort since their debut. While every Slipknot album has its faults, even that oh-so-precious classic first assault, those on All Hope... are less immediately obvious, and certainly nowhere near as off-putting as they were on the previous two records. And unlike the previous two records, you'll find more to praise than dismiss. For a start, I tend to skip on past previous singles "Left Behind" and "Vermillion Pt. 1", and mercifully, there is no such track on here. Sure, "Dead Memories" and "Snuff" rank amongst the bands less sonically abrasive material, but ... Read More:

This is my first forray into blues but I must say I'm liking the cutaway folksy-blus sound of Seasick Steve. The problem I have with this album stems purely from the bonus disc, which is a complete waste - how Warner could warrant such an extortionate price is beyond me. The bonus disc consists of 3 completely pointless filler tracks containing mostly non-descript background noise with some spoken audio. There are only 2 songs on the CD which I don't think come close to matching those of the main CD. The packaging has a foldout section of a train travelling along a cityscape, which cleverly forms a picture when folded down or out. This is a novelty but again not worth the extra money - and where is the booklet???? There are also 3 extra tacks on the main CD ... Read More:

Although the songs chosed for this album are all fairly contemporary, for the most part there is a classic feel to the whole enterprise. You forget that these are covers because the artist stamps them with his own unique sound, and at times the deep pile quality recalls Glen Campbell in his hey-day - it's that good. For instance, he takes the slab of pulverising melodic rock that is `Times Like These' by Foo Fighters, then slows it down, injects it with a country pop feel and totally takes over ownership of the song. It's neither better nor inferior to the Foo's original, just satisfyingly different. Tom Petty's `Walls' is another high point and the song begins like a distant cousin of `Galveston' - one of the very best songs Glen has ever recorded. ... Read More:

This album is by one of the bands that are definatly one of the best around today. This isnt the type f music i listen to but i thought it was amazing when i heard and it gets better every time. Much much better than other bands of this type like mcfly. BUY IT !!!! You wont regret it !!!=D

This really is a great album. Rockier than the first album this grows on you with every listen. The vocals really are fresh and crisp sounding and she has a superb talent in interpreting a song. The guest appearances are great but in no way essential and I am not really sure were neccessary. She doesn't need anyone else to bolster her sound. The packaging, as commented by others, is diabolical. Had I have known I would have downloaded it but I like to see a c.d. in its position in my racks. You would never see this one as its a thin cardboard slip!! If this is going green then we should be made aware or given an option. What can anyone find to say about AC/DC that is not all praise? - One of the best rock bands of all time! - This superb album contains the AC/DC rock anthem "Highway To Hell". Angus and Bon are shown at their rocking best, giving it all they've got. Through a series of memorable songs, we terminate in "Night Prowler" - Bon's way of saying "goodbye" - a really creepy number that makes the hair stand up on the neck. Whilst this is not my favourite AC/DC album, falling short of "Let There Be Rock", it comes close. A CLASSIC!
