This compilation contain live tracks taken from the Tom Jones's hugely successful North American TV Show (1980/1). For me it was a great surprise to find that on CD2 which features the welsh rocker dueting with some of the guests he had on his show that low and behold he sings with my favourite actess, Cybill Shepherd on OUR DAY WILL COME. Cybill also notably performed a solo version of Bing Crosby's STARDUST which is now quite hard to find. Both tracks originate from an August 1981 show. Other great duets are those with Gladys Knight (GUILTY), Dionne Warwick (ENDLESS LOVE) and Paul Anka (NIGHTS ON BROADWAY).

another fantastic CD from Charlie, whilst some do cover recordings on other albums I don't mind because track is so wonderful you never want them to end, I have most of his albums. so if you have never heard Charlie give him a try and you will be a fan like me.

Super furrey animals have produced a simply brilliant psychedelic rock album. The album has that old adage that every superb rock album shoud have, that instantly recogniseable sound throught out, yet each song sounding quite different. I dare you not to fall in love with this album the minute you hear it.

I'm a huge fan of bands debut albums. Whether it be Oasis, The Clash, Weezer or R.E.M. There's something really pure and unspoilt about that first effort that artists make. From the heart without celebrity to marr the music. Super Furry's is no exception. Fuzzy logic rocks along in a wonderful dream like scape that they will never recapture in any of they're follow ups. Not to say that they haven't made other quality albums. They sure have! But please buy this one, it's outstanding and stands the test unlike many 90's albums. 5 stars*****

Although a lot of people speak highly of Budgie and strongly rate this album they never made it as a big band and I can understand why. Yes they are talented musicians and have some great musical ideas within most of their songs but as a whole none of the songs on this album make the grade. The lyrics are poor and most tracks last too long. They clearly have been a great influence on other bands, it is just a pity they can't combine the individual riffs, licks, solos etc. into a great song.
