This collection is a fine overview of the amazing recording career of Bonnie Tyler. Here, you have tracks from the three mayor stages of her career, the RCA years, "Lost In France", "It's A Heartache" etc.., the CBS years, "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" etc and the Hansa years, "Bitterblue" etc.. As a special bonus, you also have the rare "Tyre Tracks And Broken Heart", an awesome track and a long verson of "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All". If you're looking for an album which gives a good introduction to Tyler's music, this is a good one to buy.

Pre-ordered the unmixed version of this on vinyl, and I was thoroughly disappointed. It springs to mind Sasha is now moving in the direction of building up critical applause, rather than his original motive of giving the dance floor what they wanted. The result is a boring, lacklustre album that has no pulling power. Even for the deep and moody fans, this is deeper than a mafia 'body pit'. For now, Northern Exposure is still in the CD player...

It really is a tragedy that this album is so over-looked.I bought this album on the strength of the Punk Boy single(which I bought on its release)and a review of one of the later albums that suggested this as the best place for new-comers to start. My only regret is it took me so long to discover the album. What I expected were more gorgeously catchy pop tunes of the Punk Boy ilk(although I didn't expect that level of quality throughout). What I got was a fabulous ALBUM, ie although all the tracks are superb in their own right, but when played together they become a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.
