Lovesculpture seem to be along very similar lines to Canned Heat; blues and Boogie but none the worse for it! If you like good virtuoso guitar then this is right up your alley. Tracks like Stumble are simply superb... try and decide for yourself.

For a b-sides and rarities compilation this fits together suprisingly well, and is coherent enough to pass for an full album. Whilst TMDGAF alone is worth the money, the other tracks map the evolution of SFA from a techno band (shown on Guerrilla- Wherever I lay my phone and Some things come from nothing) to their current electism. Essential for any SFA fan, and recommended to any curious, free-thinking music fan

this was the second album i bought by them, jsut because i wanted the single 'demons' but straightaway i realised that this is a classic album. the opener 'placid casual' is really dramatic sounding, 'demons' is a gorgeous record as is 'down a different river', even the artwork in the sleeve rocks! The best thing about this album is it surprises on every listen as there is a lot happening without being hard to listen to. also love the way you get elements of beach boys harmonising. Love it.

I always liked Mary Hopkin's rich, melodic voice and recently bought this album. It's so much better than the mediocre jingly songs that she became known for and displays the range of her voice much more effectively. Nothing quite compares with her stunning rendition of Beyond the Fields We Know (on the 'King of Elfland's Daughter' album), where the power, emotion and depth of her singing are amazing. But this superb collection will certainly get lots of time on my CD player.

I purchased this CD because it has 2 songs written by the great Bruce Cockburn, and I wished to hear how Mary would interpret these gems. To my pleasant surprise, not only did she perform Cockburn's songs beautifully, she also has put together an entire album of truly outstanding performances. Even though I own many (too many!) CD's, Valentine has not left my CD changer since I purchased it more than a month ago. It is that good.

This is genious,my normal taste in music is more heavier than this bands like Papa Roach,Limp Bizkit,KoRn etc but this really was good,with classics like Sexbomb,Burning Down the House,Sunny Afternoon and Mama Told Me not to come and more covered suberbly with other top notch artists which combines for a truly fab album.My Personal fave is a Are you gonna go my way by Lenny Kravitz covered by Jones and Robbie Williams. A Must have for any Fan of that type of music...

this cd of which i just got, brought back some old memories that i thought i would never see again. songs such as that old black magic, you came a long way from st.louis, a taste of honey, my prayer, georgia on my mind,i remember having the album on the old vinyl. those songs were off an album of which i can not remember but would love to find out one day. i listened to the cd while couriering around winnipeg man canada, and was able to stay relaxed. tom does a great job on songs like fly me to the moon,hey jude etc. for those who loved tom jones back in the mid to late 60's , during the green green grass era, this cd is for you. i may be from canada, but i grew up with tom jones, as my late parents loved tom jones, and with the fact he was and probably ...
