This, the fourth album proper from the band, starts well with two songs that sound fresh, lively and a little different before normal service is resumed with mixed results. I wish they'd continued with the sunnier upbeat vibe of those opening tracks and made this their summer album (I already see 'Agaetis' as their wet behind the ears Spring album and '( )' their chilly winter disc). When compared to the previous three albums you'd have to conclude that this is the weakest but it is still an enjoyable listen. The next album will be the real test for the band as more of the same might not be enough to keep everyone interested.

This album screams rock through every song, and goes through every level of the music. These guys manage to be grunge, poodle metal, heavy, humerous and mature throughout. A well thought out and undervalued album by the little-known, soon to be forgotten Saigon Kick. A must for fans of the early 90s rock/metal explosion!

If you are new to Chaka or seasoned to her inimitable talent, this is, to date her greatest recording. The opener "Clouds", an atmospheric, string-laden Ashford & Simpson composition, sets the standard for the remainder of this classic and criminally ignored release. Chaka's voice has never sounded more soulful, powerful & inspired as on this release - just take a listen to "Move Me No Mountain" (covered weakly by Soul II Soul) and I would dare anyone to challenge Chaka's standing at the very top of the world's soul singers league.
