This is Pierce Pettis third and best album to date! He is renowned and famed for his 'mastery of writing and guitar playing! and it's not difficult to see why! Many more famous 'Country Artists' have soaked up his writings and songs into there own repetoires and been recognised in the process. He is surely one of the 'New' Country 'legends in waiting' He is also being recognised as such! not only in his own Country, but here in the U.K. Buy this album in the knowledge that you won't be disappointed! It gets better and better everytime you listen.....story teller and wandering minstrel ........ play on! Unbelievable words and music.

Tim O'Brien is (I think) better know for bluegrass music, but this "celebration of the intersection of the Irish & American folk worlds" shows his great veratility. The guy plays anything with strings, all superbly, and the vocals aren't bad either. Great supporting musicians (including Paul Brady, Kelly Jo Phelps & Maura O'Connell) and a great mix of self-penned, borroed & trad songs & tunes.
