In my opinion Frank Marino is at his best live, and this is his best 'live' cd.There are long, and I mean LONG, stretches of blistering, beautiful, fierce and uplifting guitar work.Although there may appear to be quite a number of tracks on each of the two cds, many run into each other seamlessly and produce long guitar excursions that just leave you stunned.'He's Calling' and 'Poppy' are worth the price on their own and there's tons more. If you have never heard this guy or have been put off by the rather silly 'reincarnation of Hendrix' stories from over 35 years ago, then you are in for a treat. These two albums are a breath of fresh air. Sanchez programmes the right tunes, the mixing is tight and the vibe simply takes you there! With so many compilation albums available now that simply churn out the latest most available tunes it is great to hear one that is TRUELY representative of Sanchez's live performances. Album one is a great "warm up" set whilst the 2nd CD is peak time. You could do worse than buy this if you want a great total house package which covers soulful vocals, deep dubs and throbbing grooves all mixed with the skill that makes Sanchez one of the all time greats...

I bought this without being able to pre-listen to any of the tracks, but the reviews were very good so I bought it. I was not disappointed. Both CDs contain funky, jazzy, dance around the room!! tracks - certainly worth the money and a good addition to any collection.
