When Time Magazine said 'they sing like angels' it was far from an exaggeration. With the seemingly endless supply of operatic voices singing lacklustre versions of `Pie Jesu' these days, the three Priests from Northern Ireland are totally a refreshing revelation. What sets them apart from the rest is their connection to this collection of songs that draws you into their world, leaving you believing every word that they sing. There's most epic and heartfelt version in `Ave Maria'; their 'Irish Blessing' is perfection and the lesser know 'Ecce Sacerdos' is totally captivating. It's not brash or preachy: it's just brilliant music.

This cd is the best gospel cd i have ever bought, i cant stop playing it and singing along, it cheers me up when im low and makes me feel so happy, reminding me of my youth attending Hockley penticostal church in Birmingham. I can highly recomend it .

I never buy albums but Libera have made me want to buy all of theirs! Their voices are angelic! after i heard them for the first time, i never found a choral group who could sing as well as Libera! This is truly one of Libera's best albums! I recommend these songs: -Sanctus -Ave Maria -Salva Me -Voca Me ...especially 'Voca Me' and 'Salva Me'. There aren't any downsides to their music...unless you hate classical music... Beth 14 UK

I first saw Miss Jenkins on TV in a brief clip in which she sang Saint Saens',"Mon coeur s'ouvre a ta vox",("Softly awakes my heart") and I remember thinking, "Now THAT'S Delilah! ". Since then I have collected every CD that she has produced,saw her on stage during her Australian Tour and generally been a devoted fan. And judging by the inevitably gushing reviews that her work attracts ,I am certainly not alone. This CD will not disappoint her admirers,and can unreservedly be recommended. Miss Jenkins' management is obviously very astute and the musical arrangements are always excellent. I'm surprised by the number of reviewers who criticise Katherine because she has not performed in opera and then compare her unfavourably with leading opera singers. Nowhere on this CD (or any of her CDs and DVDs) is she described as an opera singer and her recordings do not claim to be opera. Her recordings do include some arias from opera (though not here) and these are sung very well, but she also includes Welsh songs,(again sadly none on this disc), hyms, songs from musicals and other works. This variety increases that buyers might not like every track. I bought this CD because it contains 'Samcta Maria' set to the music of the Intermezzo from Mascagmi's Cacalleria Rusticana' 'Be Still My Soul' the hymn set to the main theme from Finlandia by Sibelius and ...
