Absolutely brilliant gig. All the acts on the bill were brilliant (except The Bravery) I drove 3 and a half hours from Manchester for this gig, and it was so unbelievably worth it
If you missed this gig live, then make sure you buy this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are a massive fan of their old sound, of the Nu metal, then you should definitely avoid this album. If you are a music fan with an open mind then you should definitely purchase this. The sound that they have created is incredibly different. I really don't know why they changed that much. Once I like a band's sound I really don't like it when they try and reinvent themselves to change that, and that's exactly what Linkin Park have done here. I bought Meteora as my first Linkin Park album back in 2003 and I instantly loved it. The sound of the music was so unique, and to a 13 year old, pretty surprising as well. Meteora was the band's pinnacle and it is such a fantastic album. Then, after a couple of years of no activity from the band, ... Read More:

Well, this album was always going to be awesome. Its linkin park! but i have to agree with some of the other reviews here- minutes to midnight just feels more commercialised, and experimental than the other albums, Meteora and Hybrid theory. I was big on Linkin park. They had a huge fan base- why risk losing it with experimantation? tracks I recommend? 'Valentines day' (quite an emo song) like 'Leave out all the rest'. If you, like me, love the old linkin park, yu will enjoy mostly 'what I've done' 'Bleed it out' 'no more sorrow' I dont really rate the rest that well, its one of those albums you have to listen to a few times before you can really like the songs.

As a huge Linkin Park fan, I had high expectations for this album, which Minutes to Midnight has lived up too. Linkin Park have took a chance with this album, something I deeply respect and believe it has paid off for them. The album is more mature musically and lyrically than their past efforts as it deals with political and social issues skilfully and subtlely.

The album is a real mix of songs, heavier tracks such as Given Up and the heaviest they've ever written No More Sorrow, energise the album with fierce brutality. Whilst softer songs such as Leave Out All The Rest and Valentine's Day complements them yet still hold power over the listener. The album begins with the instrumental track Wake, which allows Linkin Park to show the listener ... Read More:
