A bit of a strange one this, their are some great tracks on this album - Rae & Christians' remix of N.O.W's "What I'm feelin" (possible the funkiest bassline known to man) being the best. The hip hop tracks are all good ("Mics to cables" is a classic & you can't go far wrong with Method Man) however most of the "Big beat" tracks already sound dated.

One of the most underrated indie-pop bands of the twenty-first century is probably Two Loons For Tea. Like their self-titled debut, "Looking for Landmarks" is a sultry blend of jazz, pop, trip-hop and smooth guitar, without much of a downside at all.

This is more of a warning than a review. Basically, every track on the album has two seconds of silence at the end, including the first track "Prelude" which should seamlessly merge into "Slam". Other than this one instance it isn't that annoying, but if that kind of thing would irritate you, you may be better off looking for the original version of the album, which was mixed properly: Hold Your Colour

If you are looking to put the album on a computer or portable media player (iPod, etc.) there are workarounds for this. Once you have bought and ripped the album to your computer, either download a replacement copy of "Prelude" from the original, or edit the track yourself using a program like Audacity. In terms of whether this album is ... Read More:

I was introduced to this album by a friend and bless the day I heard it for the first time. The use of samples can be a tricky thing and sometimes overwhelms, but in London Book Of The Dead RTW utilises the carefully chosen and woven samples with care and affection and musical 'nouse'. It adds to the rainy day atmosphere perfectly. We are taken through a world of nostalgia, love and regret with the planning and precision a tour guide would weave one through the streets of London, and it is a journey well worth the fee. My absolute favourites (hard to pick any as they are all standout tracks) are Decline & Fall of The Clerkenwell Kid with its filmic sonic landscape, It's A Wonderful Li(f)e, Dorothy Parker Blue - my absolute fave, a superbly moving tribute ...
