This is a box set containing their first five studio albums each of which contains additional material. Cheap Trick seem to be largely overlooked and greatly underestimated. Most people will know them principally for "I Want You To Want Me" and "Surrender" but I have discovered that they are a band with many more killer cuts than that. "You're All Talk", "High Roller" and "Love Comes A Tumblin' Down" are great examples. There's something here for most rock fans with some deft guitar work, amusing lyrics and surprisingly a hint of British rock influences. Caution, If you, like I did, bought the Affinity album and then the instrumentals, then liked them so much you wanted more...... I read the Allmusic review of this album and it raved about them. So I got it, maybe I missed the point when they said that the only original member was the drummer. I mistakenly thought that they had a different keyboard player, after all, Affinity=great Hammond, doesn't it? Well, er, no. Not this piece of...... This is Affinity when they were a different band, a keyboardless covers band. Read school covers band, no more no less. AVOID!!!!!!!

Let me start by saying that this is such a good live album. If you like Otis and want a good live album by him, then this is definitely the place to start. I've got quite a few of his live albums (whiskey a go go etc) and have to say that this is him at his best. His voice is incredible, and he has great interaction with the crowd. It gives you shivers to hear him sing fa fa fa fa (sad song), with the crowd singing along so obviously enjoying themselves. You also get some great ballads as well. The only down side is that it is just over 38 mins long and when a live album is as good as this, you are left wanting more. Buy a perfect piece of soul music and enjoy.
