It may be hard to find now but this is still the most comprehensive collection of Mary Wells' work for Motown. Mary Wells had 10 singles out on the label between 1961 and 1964, plus a duet with Marvin Gaye, and all of them are here, plus most of their B-sides. She also put out quite a few studio albums, and these are all represented: Bye Bye Baby, I Don't Want To Take A Chance (1961)(5 tracks), The One Who Really Loves You (1962)(7 tracks), Two Lovers And Other Great Hits (1963)(5 tracks), Together (with Marvin Gaye)(1964)(the 2 tracks released as a single) and Mary Wells Sings My Guy (1964)(4 tracks). She also had a live album, Recorded Live On Stage (1963), from which nothing has been taken, and an unreleased album, Second Time Around ... Read More:

Here it is, the NOW series' "greatest hits" if you may...

I am sure it was a difficult process picking the songs for such a milestone collection. You can not please everyone and there will be dozens of songs people will feel should have been there. Perhaps a 4 or 5 CD collection would have been a better idea to cover such a long period of hits. It seems that each CD in the collection is devoted to one decade of music, which is not a bad idea. But why not have the songs in their chronological order while you're at it?

To comment on the songs that are on it they are sure to bring back memories for people growing up in the 80s and the 90s. Most of the songs on here have become modern classics, the type of songs everyone will ... Read More:

Looking for a decent various album, this particular one appealed to my tastes more than any other out there.
When purshasing a various artists collection you often get a mixture of tunes you either love, hate or haven't heard of before.
Thankfully for me i got a selection of tunes i loved and the fast forward button is left well alone.
I knew all about the likes of Coldplay,Travis,The Killers,Razorlight,Oasis and Paul Weller ect,but now i have a few more groups i need to look out for after witnessing some hidden gems from, amongst others,Turin Brakes,Kings of Leon and Doves in particular.
Not a duff track amonst this collection but two songs alone make this 2 disc cd well worth getting hold of,Pink Floyd's 'Comfortably Numb' and ... Read More:

Let me start by saying I am not from the UK and i don't know most of these songs.I bought it at a virgin megastore on vacation. Disc One
1.Sugababies-Push The Button 4/5
2.Robbie Williams-Tripping 3/5
3.Pussycat Dolls-Don't Cha 0/5
4.Daniel Powter-Bad Day 2/5
5.David Gray-The One I Love 3/5
6.Kelly Clarkson-Since U Been Gone 2/5
7.Will Young-Switch It On 4/5
8.Girls Aloud-Biology 4/5
9.McFly-I'll Be OK 3/5
