So how didn't it work then? You had Eileen Twain, who a few years later would become the biggest selling female artist in the Galaxy, and you had AOR god Paul Sabu who has worked on fourteen platinum selling albums for the likes of David Bowie, Alice Cooper, Madonna and John Waite, as well as his priceless AOR work in his won band, Only Child, and such hidden gems as Alexa and Silent Rage. The material has been out in a few formats including "Beginnings", "The Limelight Sessions" and "Wild And Wicked", but this version seems to have the most tracks with eighteen songs making an appearance. As a massive fan of ALL of Shania's work i find this album somewhat harder to enjoy partly because i know that this album was not released by her or her true representatives and was a money making excuse for others, however there is some very good song on here for example two hearts one love will get stuck in your head just as well as parts from her come on over album that was so very succesful. Not a bad album but not up to her near impossibly high level however better than most.

I really like this album. It takes a few listens before it starts to grow on you, but a few tracks make an impact straight away. It's very different to her other stuff, a lot more rocky, very 80's rock. The song I like best of all is 'Send it with Love' an absolutely beautiful song that she apparently wrote shortly after her parents' death. This song is a reflection of her thoughts, and is very touching. It's a shame that this song is not included on one of her more recent albums because I would say it's probably one of the best she has ever written

Very different from anything of Shania's I had heard before, sounds like typical late 80's soft rock. However most of the songs are quite good, and Shania's vocal ability is stunning, even back then. Guess I'm a pretty big fan, but a very impressive album, worth listening to even just to hear the different genre of music!

A must for any Shania Twain fan, her unique country/crossover style is appealing to all tastes with upbeat rythms and lyrics you can not help but move to. This is my favourite Shania Twain album.
