I bought this thinking it was a new release from a more recent gig,wrong because although the cover photo is fairly recent the music therein is not. In fact when he introduces 'Roosevelt and Ira Lee' it's introduced as his new single.Well that song was TJW's second single release around I should think 1970.The whole album is only 32 minutes long,contains eight tracks of which one is repeated twice and a bonus track of a rather poor quality version of Polk Salad Annie.Right now to the rest of it,the musics pretty good,although not brilliantly recorded,it's certainly live and very listenable.I don't think for a moment it's at one gig as there are gaps between each song.The band is spot on Tony's guitar playing and voice are as always hot ... the wonderful soundtrack of the Commitments, vol 1+ vol 2 in a wonderful Deluxe edition and a fancy and respectable package. include 5 songs of Andrew strong. i do not think there is a compliment that was not told on the wonderful cover of the songs (include Midnight Hour,Chain of Fools, At The Dark End Of The Street, Mustang Sally and more ) and about the strong voice of andrew strong. but this is a wonderful item to keep.
