The Choir of The Queen's College, Oxford has the reputation of being the finest mixed voice choir in Oxford and this recording demonstrates their ability well. The Choir provides a cohesive and expressive performance and interpretation of these works with a high sense of musicianship. A special mention is to be made of the Soprano Soloist, Alice Gribbin, who posses an extremely fine voice which both blends with the choir and is also of exquisite beauty in her solo passages.
