The great scene in the work is the one where the writing appears on the wall. Alas, there is an unnecessary disc change in the middle of it, completely destroying the flow.

In addition to large works like the symphonies and choral pieces, there are many small, occasional works - overtures, ballads, etc - which could easily be programmed alongside Tchaikovsky, Strauss, or other late romantics. I mention those famous names, because they are the people Bantock most closely resembles (imitates), though without the hysteria or egotism of either.
