This song is great! Absolutely brilliant! Okay so he sounds a bit obnoxious with the title but when I heard the first time on the wade robson project (I only heard the music didn't see it till later) I thought: man, he's great! Then I remebered him being in NSYNC. Now I loved NSYNC, but when Justin went solo, I wasn't that impressed. I've only recently heard his album and didn't think a lot of it. Anyway back on track, I first heard JC on the radio back in March when I heard Blowin' Me Up - brilliant song, complete sex. By the time this album arrived in 1969, the Byrds were well past their prime. This was mainly due to the major changes of personnel over the last 2-3 years. However, they managed to create the 3 classic albums through turbulent times - Younger Than Yesterday, Notorious Byrd Bros and Sweetheart of the Rodeo. Roger McGuinn carried on with The Byrds name even after Chris Hillman left in 1968, but the magic was lost. What is so disappointing about this album is the lack of genuine good original material. This is a great CD, for starters you get 2 of Darin's albums rolled onto one CD and for only £6.99. That is an absolute bargain! This album is very moving with such protest songs as 'simple song of freedom' which is a simple but very sad song saying just how Darin felt about the Vietnam war. The rest of the other songs are mixed like 'me and mr hohner' is a bluesy toe tapping song with a catchy bass line, other songs are country/folk like 'The Harvest'. If you are a Darin fan then you must have this in your collection, if not give it a go anyway you will not be dissapointed.

A very good double album CD, the first half is Darins takes on the original Doctor Dolittle movie's soundtrack composed entirely by Leslie Bricusse who also did the script for the movie, the moive is brill I have it on DVD an managed to get hold of the original soundtrack on CD, but Darin adds something to the Doctor Dolittle songs that isn't shown in the movie. He takes 'Beautiful Things' shortens it slightly and makes it much more of a swinging jazz tune which is cool, the dolittle takes are good songs and well worth the money. The other album is superior as it is all written by the legend himself, this is worth the price it costs so i advise to give it a try, you cannot get any better then this for easy listening swinging songs.
