Romanza" was my first Andrea Boticelli album and still remains my favorite. I think this is the tenor's most definitive collection, showcasing his sweet, rich sound, powerfully held long notes, and exquisite sense of cadence. Supposedly, this was the CD geared to "bridge the gap" between pop and opera. Boticelli certainly exhibits a diverse style with this top-notch selection of romantic songs. When I originally bought "Romanza," back in the 20th century, I did so because of Botecelli's interpretation of "Con te Partiro," (Time To Say Goodbye"), which is still an exceptional song after all these years. I was so blown away by this album! I decided last week that the first album I saw of Andrea Bocellis I would get & add to my cd collection, I personally think that he has a fantastic voice & I love to play chilled out music while I'm reading. I saw this album & got it right away..... I love it! I've found that it's not only perfect for listening to in the background while reading but it's so relaxing that I've found myself fall asleep while taking in each individual song - that's not something I've ever been able to do. This CD was given to me as a Christmas 2000 present. Since then it has become my favourite listening. All tracks are great and "Time to say goodbye" with Sarah Brightman is truely special. I can't praise it highly enough!

I would like to assume that you're looking at this page because you already know the album 'Fly' in its original format, and simply want to know if forking out extra money for this new edition is worth it. This review is simply about this edition and the two stars refer to this edition, not to the actual 'Fly' album, which I think is a complete and utter classic that epitomises perfection. This is the fourth edition of Fly (yes, that's right, the fourth of her least successful studio album). Perhaps Sarah and team really want to drum into the world what they missed back in 1996 when this gem was originally released, and I do not blame them - the world did miss something.
