After reading reviews of this and similar products I must say I was a little sceptical. However when satans furry army is fouling ones garden, needs must. It has now been three weeks and no more cat mess! Blimey. I would recommend that you order with the mains power supply as 2 duracell batteries only lasted 10 days or so.

Since consigning my cooker to the great recycling machine and using instead a pair of convection/grill/microwave ovens I found myself sorely missing my Sunday morning poached eggs and fried bacon breakfast which a microwave just cannot do justice to. So I purchased this Haden 13356 2 Hob Electric Boiling Ring with thermostat, pilot light and cool touch handles - what a beauty! It's compact and light enough(though very sturdy) to store in a cupboard and bring out when needed, it's well made with a good finish and this Sunday morning breakfast lover - loves it..

I bought one and after leaving it on for one week it stopped working. It costs £6 to fill it up with batteries. I thought it has used all the battery life in one week so i bought more batteries but the device had short circuited or something. So i returned it via Amazon (who have a very effective return process) and had another one delivered. I put my new batteries in the new device and this one did not even turn on! What a complete waste of time and money.

How they can claim this works with all pests is unbelievable. The biology or rodents and insects cannot be any further apart. Those of you who have has success, the reason is probably that they died of natural causes. Anyway, I bet the person who thought it worked for ants has changed their mind by now. It didn't for me. I spoke to a pest controller who sorted my problem out. He said quote, 'if they worked I'd be a millionaire, if they worked my suppliers would sell them, take it back and get your money back!, oh and ants don't have ears and rats couldn't care less!"

The product took about 3 weeks to work and it worked fine for about 3 months, however, Mr Mouse woke me up at 3:00 am this morning climbing out of my little bedroom bin........so unfortunately the product was not worth buying............. Am now going to send them back to the manufacturer.

I had a problem with squirrels in my roofspace - they were living under a converted loft floor. Having read the reviews I bought one of these traps and set it outdoors using a Snickers bar as the bait. Half an hour later I caught my first squirrel. They obviously like Snickers as it had eaten the lot. There's no point buying a more expensive version of this product - it works really well. It's well designed too, with a protective plate to stop the squirrel from nipping your fingers when you pick up the cage to transport it. I was able to release the squirrels unharmed in a nearby wood.

Flymo Garden Vac 2500 Turbo My house is surrounded by trees, a gravelled drive and slate surrounding the house. All garden vacs will struggle with wet leaves but this Flymo has been really good. It is not too heavy and has a body strap to help balance the weight. Using the blow function I BLOW the leaves down the gravel into a large pile and then either vacuum them up or load into the wheelie bin. The blowing function also dries the wet leaves on the slate to either blow or vacuum up. This garden vac saves me so much time and effort. I used a similar product, turns out to be an effective humane trap, got rid of two mice overnight, and without resorting to slaughter. I must say, the number of reviews unjustly blaming this trap for being "cruel" is astounding. News Flash : this trap does NOT kill the mouse. The very purpose of this trap is NOT to kill it. Like every other humane trap on the market, the only thing it does is CAPTURE it. And like every other humane trap on the market, you are supposed to check it regularly, and dispose of the mouse humanely. You can spare the mouse's life if you feel like it. This is the best flask that i have bought, mainly because it is'nt as fragile, there being no glass inner to break. Also, it holds a decent amount of liquid and keeps it cold or hot for a decent amount of time.
