Like many others I have been plagued by neighbours cats fouling my vegetable beds. I have six deep beds and, unless they are heavily planted and the growth is substantial, they are used by the cats. I have installed the Big Cheese and so far it has been successful. I have had two beds with bare, freshly turned earth left untouched for three weeks! Before, when I had put a tent of chicken wire over the beds a cat had dropped it's poo through the wire. My only criticism is that the switch to turn it off, for battery saving, is awkwardly located.

The best thing i have bought for ages. Managed to catch 2 squirrels and 1 pigeon in 2 weeks with this cage. All were set free unharmed in a place far from my roof ! Looks complicated to use at first but once mastered it is very easy and so effective. Would definaetly recommend this to anyone who is having problems being over run by the pests.

i had a mice problem like the rest of you in here and i heard about this brought it and didnt notice a different i called my pest control company in and they actuall informed me by using these u probably would see them more as its just makes them act crazy and leads them to spin aroun in circles he said to me this is only good as a prevention not a cure so if you already have mice in your property this is not for you

It seemed to work for the first 5 days, but then the cat(s) must of gotten used to it - They left a couple of messages 2m & 3m in front of the repeller. Also it is oversensitive and scares away birds as small as starling. It is not in-audible to humans either.

Some of the reviews praising this product make me ashamed of being part of the human race. To deliberately inflict that sort of suffering on any creature is beyond contempt. I will certainly never buy anything from this company who must have known how it would be used by cruel, callous and unfeeling people. Indeed I am now having to consider whether to continue being a very good customer of Amazon who are helping to market it. BAN THIS PRODUCT.

I bought one of these as a last resort to stop an extremely determined cat who took a shine to leaving cat mess right in the middle of our veg patch every evening. Before buying this I had tried ultrasonic devices, bottles filled with water, various powders, ballons, netting over the ground, etc...all to no avail. The device was easy to install and I had it protecting the desired spot within ten minutes. It took a little bit of fiddling around with to get the water to spray in the right direction (the adjuster that changes the range doesn't seem to do anything) and I found that the water sprays up in an arc which didn't seem ideal - it's a shame you can't change it into a mist spray or move the direction up and down. ... It's quite bulky and took a few attempts to set it up as if not done correctly the slightest move sets it off, but overall it is a good live trap. I think it would be better if it could set up not to close so the wild rat can get used to it over a period of days, then when they're not expecting it you can set it up to catch them. It's designed so you cannot get bitten and works well, and needs to be checked daily but I found I could attach a water bottle on the side of it. Great for catching escaped pets as I found out, especally when it's in a huge pet store. The rat was caught first time and was unharmed.
