Be careful.... Home assembly is difficult and quite frankly....awful, no, lets be honest here, its bloody awful! the hose drum connection point leaks everywhere and the spray 'gun' is ineffective and a total joke! It's not worth my time and yet more money to return this pile of junk, and I've just put it down to painful experience. Beware!

Bought as a basic machinme - thought it was good value - special ofer at Focus - but I have used it for 2 days and it keeps breaking the line, or feeding too much out and winding it round the spool or just winding too much and not auto-cutting. The cable is hard-wired onto the handle so I have to go back to the plug, pull it out (husband moans and I have to twist it out !) and sort out the machine, plug it in again and get going for 2 minutes when it happens again. Its the original spool and cable but boy am i fed up ! - Black and Decker next time

This was told to me by the manager of a large DIY chain when I complained about the frequent failure rate of the B & D products. Don't waste your money on this rubbish - do some research and buy something sturdier which is made to last.

I have owned one of these for 18 months and was generally pleased with its performance - easy to use, long hose, powerful adjustable jet, what more could you want?!? Well something that lasts would be nice...like others, I have found that the plastic parts become brittle and break It started with the hose holder and issues with the lance, but the real downer is a plastic inlet pipe that split open during use. Its the part you attach the hose to and feeds into the pump that I have to say looks tough as nails encased in metal parts...not much good though if your water has escaped first!! So a good product with limited service life at a relatively high price means I feel generous giving it 3 stars *** ... Read More:
