I used a similar product, turns out to be an effective humane trap, got rid of two mice overnight, and without resorting to slaughter. I must say, the number of reviews unjustly blaming this trap for being "cruel" is astounding. News Flash : this trap does NOT kill the mouse. The very purpose of this trap is NOT to kill it. Like every other humane trap on the market, the only thing it does is CAPTURE it. And like every other humane trap on the market, you are supposed to check it regularly, and dispose of the mouse humanely. You can spare the mouse's life if you feel like it. When I first got this, it was cheap and ok for occasional use, not waking up the household on night time wanders around the house etc. But it's not cutting edge (any more). As the previous reviewer says, it's not very bright. Also you need 2 hands - one to hold and one to wind up, which is not terribly convenient. I would recommend instead getting a dynamo type one which involves squeezing - you can 'wind up' and use with one hand and they only cost about £3.50 incl. p&p on ebay!

This is the best flask that i have bought, mainly because it is'nt as fragile, there being no glass inner to break. Also, it holds a decent amount of liquid and keeps it cold or hot for a decent amount of time.

Just got one of these - a great device, accurate thermometer etc but has the same annoying thing as the rest of the Oregon range: they assume people in the UK don't understand the 24 hour clock so they don't give you the option to change between 12 and 24 hour format - just 12 hour which is pretty annoying!

I have a kerbside flower bed here in Cape Town, South Africa which dogs used to urinate and defecate on as they were being walked by their owners. This was not good for the flowers or those tending them. It was really amusing to see how this unit worked: after installation the dogs' owners could be seen walking on the opposite side of the street from mine, led there by their dogs who now wanted to avoid my flower bed. It is a little awkward to get at when you need to replace batteries. I may install a mains power supply at some point. Here the weather can be blazing sun in summer and oppressively wet in winter. This unit survives both extremes.
