The Pro's: It comes with 4 adaptors, and I can confirm that the Samsung tip fits a D500 phone. The torch is simple and effective. The Con's: Naff build quality - the charger section feels solid and well built, but the included cable is cheap, and managed to break the 2nd time I connected a tip. It's possible to turn the handle for ages, and not do any actual charging whatsoever. Unless a good connection is made, you wont be charging your phone. I moved position while charging my D500, and the handle suddenly got much harder to turn. Why? Because I was actually charging the phone, not just spinning the wheel. £10 seems a bit steep but these lights have worked longer and better than any other solar lights in our garden. Purely for decoration, the changing colours make them really eye catching. Also, not too bright to effect wildlife.

I was somewhat apprehensive about ordering this product after reading negative reviews of similar products. First impressions upon opening the box were that the lights were of poor quality, and unlikely to be waterproof. Sure enough, after only a couple of minutes submerged in the bath, the lights were filled with water, and still lit up even when switched off! On the plus side, the lights do look really nice, but as they are unable to be used for the purpose they are designed for, a complete waste of money. Buy at your peril!!
