I've used these bands in the tropics and the Scottish Highlands and they do a good job. Bugs normally feast on me but they stayed away when I was wearing these. They may not be quite as effective as the typical DEET-based sprays, but they are effective for several days, and without the mess (& possible adverse side effects) of sprays. They also smell reasonably pleasant so you won't deter the 2-legged specimens. I use my wit and repartée for that!

Prior to purchasing this mower I was undecided between this and the larger Rotak 43. My existing mower is a 40 cut. My rear lawn is approximately 10 x 10 and my front 10 x 5 metres. That is a total of 150m2 and the mower is good for 300 according to Bosch. That is short grass in dry conditions with the cut set to medium. Additional batteries are available but they cost around £90.00. The battery took 30 minutes to be fully charged whilst I assembled the mower. Assembly of the mower was quite easy to do. Most difficult part was tightening the two screws that secured the handle into the mower. No problems with the grass box. Instructions were quite small to read though. For the size of it, you would not believe just how much air this thing pumps out. Quite amazing. It does run on aaa's, no aa's, which i was a bit annoyed at (My own fault, i didnt read the advert correctly). This really does keep you cool, and with the adjustable postitions, its perfect for sitting next to a computer with etc. I would say this thing is not suitable for kids, as even with the safety blades, it stings a fair amount if you touch them in motion, it really is that powerful. But for the money, I couldnt find better. top quality

The solar fountain is excellent value for money; it was less than half the recommended retail price when I bought it through Amazon. It arrived only 2 days after I placed the order. The fountain works very well and with the recent sunny weather, the water has reached at least the 400mm mentioned in the instructions. This solar fountain is a lot better than the previous one I had because it works even if the sunshine is hazy or partially obscured by clouds. The floating rock design looks good in the pond even when the fountain is not operating. I am very impressed!
